Such an amazing place with very authentic delicious Mexican food. A must try in the Pilsen area.
Kid-friendliness: We went there with 2 very small kids. The stuff were very accomodating and helpful.

Out of many places in Chicago this one I feel deserves 5 stars and it's not because it was a first time try. Been seeing this shop for 4 years and every weekend I've gotten 2.5lbs of savory carnival with a pound of chicharron. Of course get rice and the green sauce ?

excellent carnitas. it's the kind of place that you order your protein, and they bring tortillas, limes, onions, and cilantro to your table. will definitely go there again

Best place in Pilsen for Carnitas, we tried the "surtidas", beans, jalapeno, tortillas, and chicharron. Last time we tried the barbacoa, amazing as well! If your looking for great tacos and platters, this is your spot.

Reheated carnitas, if they don't run out the day before they reheat them and sell them to you the next morning... and be careful because if you don't look they will give you nothing but leftovers and hard skins.
Menudo without flavor, more water less often.
Old onion and cilantro and lemons cut days before, all sour. The only good thing is the brain tacos.
One of my best places for 20 years, it's a shame that Don Pedro left them serving this type of food.
