Such an amazing place with very authentic delicious Mexican food. A must try in the Pilsen area.
Kid-friendliness: We went there with 2 very small kids. The stuff were very accomodating and helpful.

excellent carnitas. it's the kind of place that you order your protein, and they bring tortillas, limes, onions, and cilantro to your table. will definitely go there again
About the restaurant: Be prepared to wait in line to order at Don Pedro Carnitas, a locals' favorite in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood.Food & Drinks: Individual tacos are available, but most patrons order the pork by the pound. Served family-style with tortillas, chicharrones (fried pork rinds), bottles of red and green salsas and heaping bowls of pico de gallo and pickled peppers, they're a fiery, design-it-yourself meal. On the weekends you might also find menudo on the menu.
