The owner John is a scammer, he will try to assure you that the reviews aren’t real. Yes they’re real believe the reviews about scamming. He will unreasonably keep your car to you and will do more damage to it, just to scam the insurance. Leaves you stuck having no choice but to wait for him to fix your car.

I brought my car, to Capital Auto Body Shop Elston, Av chicago May 16, 2023 and the store Owner Johne dishonest he tried to scam the insurance company. He hold my car for five months without fixing the damage . He’s excuse always supply chain problems which is not true.Finally, I picked up my car yesterday October 14th 2023 after 5 month he keep saying a couple weeks to finish the Couple weeks never end . I tow my car from that facility without completing the job to the dealership to reprogram the system.Please, I recommend to any one , do not take your car this place .PS. He Excepts, every job but he doesn’t have enough worke at the body shop.

This man gives a whole new meaning to predatory and dishonest mechanics. DO NOT TRUST HIM. DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR MONEY. DO NOT LET HIM CONTACT YOUR INSURANCE! He will lie and scam your insurance while you sit ignorantly thinking you're in good hands. Months later, your insurance rates will increase exponentially. You'll learn that he made false claims and defrauded your insurance, leaving you high and dry. He will lie and evade any and all responsibility. DO NOT make the same mistake I did!

I highly recommend Capital Auto Body. Their personnel is very attentive. They are experts on everything they do. My car was repair and painted above my expectations. I will definatelly comeback to them if i need them.

I really can't put into words how awful this experience was. It took 4 months to get my car back --brought it in with very minor damage. We got the run around for months! John never responds to phone calls or texts--they went completely silent. A complete insurance scam artist --full of BS. We had to personally go in to the shop 3 different times just to get an update. Every single time he said it would be just another week and after terrible communication weeks would go by. No complaints about the actual work, but it's not worth the hassle take your vehicle elsewhere.

I have a Camaro that's currently being fixed here and it's being done very well that you very good work here And I would definitely recommend this place for anybody that wants good work done on their carIt's quality work Not slap some bondo over some rust and call it A-day cars are fixed properly here the rust is cut out like cancerAnd replaced with metal and fix properly

1st time I brought my car to this place I got exceptional service. Which in turn made me a returned customer 2nd time I had to bring my car back, for a bigger job but so was the hassle. When i did finally got my car back almost 3 months later its still not in the condition i expected to and needed to be at. Shop owner is very unorganized, not truthful on time lines and just needs more help it seems. If you dont mind not having your car for months and getting jacked around on info, this is the place to go.in the words of the shop ownner "you get what you pay for".I will Not go back to this auto shop ever again. I would rather pay out of pocket someone else to finish the job they had 3 months to do and failed.

We brought a car in to get repair and they held onto the keys for a week never calling the warranty. All the while saying "tomorrow, tomorrow". Well tomorrow never came and it took walking in in person again and again to get them prompted to even begin the call. Waste of time, unprofessional, and nothing but lies. Do not go here.

What worse place to do business with! Had my truck for 1 month & didn't call me or updated my one time! They lied & create fraud cases to get more money out the insurance. They are just the worst & you've been told so don't look past this comment! Run fast to better companies that respect your time & money. Wish I could give no star! Plus I still don't have my truck & have to pay out of pocket for my rental! Just sad & mad for picking them to work on my truck
