I will never go anywhere else no matter what! I can’t say enough good things about Call of the Wild .I’m on my 4th dog with Jennifer. Knowledgeable , helpful, and devoted come to mind.

Call of the Wild is an excellent training facility. I have gone through Puppy Class with my previous puppies and the latest is Joonie, a toy poodle. In addition to classes there is a great daycare program with the option for your dog to get some additional training. She has not been boarded there, but it is another option. Everyone at the facility is friendly and welcoming, which to me is very important. Joonie loves Call of the Wild‼️? Below is a before and after daycare, this week ?

There is little I could say that fully encapsulates how much I recommend Call of the Wild Dog Training. Our pup Trooper did the ITE puppy training. He is part Dutch Shepard, and we were starting to see some of his breed characteristic arousal biting in our home. We brought him to ITE hopeful he could improve, but concerned that we may not be able to control him because we are novices at dog training. Jennifer worked with Troop, helped us understand his needs and personality, and clearly has a passion and talent for this work. By the time he got out of ITE, our dog had his basic commands under his belt and our fears were totally in the rear view mirror. Our friends with dog training experience comment on how far along he is for only being 5 months old. Additionally, Trooper clearly loved his experience. Every day when I'd drop him off his tail wagging would go crazy... never seen him so happy!Will your dog come home from ITE Puppy Training perfect in all situations? No- That's not a realistic expectation. But Call of the Wild gave us the skills to reinforce the training at home. As part of the program, our trainers watched us train with our dog and gave us feedback so we could be more effective. It gave us the peace of mind and guidance to know what to do in any situation arose with our dog. We are now doing a more advanced class virtually because our dog is loving the mental and physical stimulation. He is finding lots of success. Highly recommend!

My puppy is in obedience training at call of the wild. Classes once a week, and we are assigned homework each week that we are to complete between classes. Though sometimes class can seem a bit crowded, overall it's been a good experience. My puppies class is just basic training and he's learning basic commands like name recall and sit and remain. The instructor is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and explains to us how their thought processes work to help us understand why we need to train them the way we do. I like that my dog is in the hands of someone who seems to really understand him. I've learned that dogs really only change their behavior out of habit and not because they ever learn right from wrong. It makes sense when you learn it but Having it explained to me in the way instructor did really resonated with me. I feel that I am not only training my dog but getting to understand him better.

A week after adopting my 2 year old rescue dog Henri, I brought him to COTW for a private lesson with the lead trainer, Jennifer. Over a just a few lessons, she helped Henri develop a level of obedience I would have never thought possible with my first dog. For every obedience exercise, she would make sure I knew the intricacies of the exercise, how to incrementally increase the difficulty, and exactly what behaviors and body language cues of his to look for so that I could effectively continue the training outside of the lesson (the lessons are for you as much or more than they are for the dog!). I understand my dog so much better because of her. I could tell just how much she cared about Henri and his growth from the start, and am very thankful to have taken him to COTW. Looking forward to taking their group Beyond Basics lessons soon.

We have been using them for a few years to board our dog and train. I can't recommend them enough. They recognize Edgar by name and you can tell they care about each dog, which is a big thing for us when boarding.

Our 5lb puppy was an absolute wild child...cute, happy but impossible to control. After ITE he is cute, happy & a gentleman! We are thrilled!

Call of the Wild is an outstanding dog training school. The trainers are top notch and the methods make sense to me and my dogs. Jennifer sets the bar high for her school. The trainers and day care staff are professional and kind. They care about each and every dog. All in all this is a top notch training facility with excellent standards. You and your dog will learn so much and you’ll have fun training at Call of the Wild.

I cannot say enough about CoTW. We first took our dog through Super Puppy and was so impressed by their professionalism and care of training that we came back for both Beyond Basics and an Agility Training. We also board our pup there when we go out of town and it is such a relief to know he is in such excellent hands- they take the care of the dogs so seriously and clearly understand dogs on another level that there isn't a worry in my mind when we drive away. Best training and boarding in Chicago!
