Melissa has done an absolutely incredible job building this establishment up, stocking it impressively, and promoting local events to support and engage.Her selection is unique yet still accessible, and she offers wonderful insight on selections. The space is inviting and open, allowing both conversation and independent browsing.She truly embraces a solid, small-business model while passionately inspiring other women looking to build their businesses.Absolutely go visit and introduce yourself to both Melissa and Danny, if you happen across them. It's worth it.

Have been coming to this store for years and I can see why they won best wine shop in the city. The owners and staff are welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable -- you don't need to know about wine to get something good, just let them help you. Additionally, the spirits selection is the most thoughtful I've seen, and potentially the best rum selection anywhere in the city. The classes are phenomenal too and a good value, plus they usually bring in high-profile industry guests to help lead them. Cannot recommend BottlesUp! enough, stop by if you've been looking for a great wine and liquor store.

A great little wine shop with a nice selection of wine for purchase even chilled if you are on your way to a local BYOB restaurant. They have a wine club and hold special events such as their recent wine tasting trolley tour of Chicago.

Not that this place needs another 5-star review, but alas here is another 5-star review. BottlesUp! is hands Up the best wine store on the northside, both in terms of wine selection, atmosphere, and staff/ownership. As a non-huge wine drinker who's lived in West Town for many years now, I still make the drive on occasion for a couple of Bottles Up there -- it's worth it IMHO.

BottlesUp is not just an everyday bottle shop but an experience and place that encourages you to “be yourself” - an intentional play on the businesses’ initials (BU). Something we should all live by, frankly!The owner Melissa is not only super knowledgeable about vino, but as a person is a ball of fun! She’s consistently giving back to the community and partnering with other small businesses, too. I think she has super powers. Correction, I know she has super powers.In addition to stopping in and getting yourself some goods to get sauced, highly recommend checking out their events as well. They do everything from tastings, to dinners, to 5ks (seriously, and rose is involved).Glad to have businesses such as this in our community.

Hands down, without a doubt, the best wine store in the city. Melissa is one of the kindest, most wonderful human beings around, and curates an incredible selection of wine, beer, spirits, and N/A selections. She and her team are absolute rockstars!

Melissa has such great energy and enthusiasm about wine she's always worth the visit. I've gotten several bottles here that I loved.The place is arranged by color. So it goes from white to rose on one side of the shop and from light bodied reds to deeper reds on the other side. I feel this unconventional approach makes it easier to navigate the selection. After all not everyone knows that they want something from Italy or Portugal, but they might know what shade they're after.Friendly customer service and a well curated selection make this a must see for every wine lover and would be wine lover. You don't have to know anything about wine to make a smart purchase here.

This place is one of the hidden gems of Lakeview. Melissa is just amazing! The selection here is really great. They have lots of events for the community and did I mention Melissa really knows her stuff.
