There’s a reason this place has only one star if you look at the majority of the reviews. I found out firsthand the reason why. I came on a Saturday morning to get my debit card replaced. That’s all I needed. There were two ladies behind the counter and one personal banker. The personal banker left her desk to help out behind the desk with the customers. When I got to the front, she had me wait just to get a debit card replacement. I saw so many customers walking to the branch and leave while I sat there for a good half hour just waiting. When I was finally attended to, I got my new debit card and I had my old one. You would think that that was the end of that horrible experience, but it gets better.
On Monday two days later, I came to the branch to deposit money at the ATM which it accepted, and then I withdrew some money out. When I wanted to update my streaming services payment method, the card was rejected. I ended up calling the 800 number and spoke to Mary. She told me she saw nothing on my profile. I didn’t understand it whatsoever because I was able to use the ATM. She told me before I go back to call the branch which I did. The girl on the phone told me all I can do is just come in yet again and they’d give me a new card. I was literally just there minutes prior. The inconvenience factor along with the horrible experience is just an atrocious. I ended up going back. I had no choice. I was the first one in line to my surprise, but I had to wait yet again for the personal banker, and there was already people waiting on top of people being serviced by him that very moment. After waiting an hour on top of what I went through on Saturday this experience finally ended. I’ve read a lot of the horrible reviews to this branch and don’t understand why things never get corrected. The sad part is they could’ve cared less to make things better for me as I was the one that had to wait, I was given a faulty debit card, and, I had to waste so much time for their mistakes. They could’ve cared less to offer me something for the inconvenience whether it was a gift card or some small compensation for this experience. I’m at the point now where I’m thinking of taking all my money out and going to another bank because this customer experience is horrible and it’s never going to change

Always a horrible experience at this location, considering going to another bank. Employees are miserable here, pay them more to smile.

Worst experience ever with this bank. Can't seem to get an answer from no one. Been waiting for a check to clear for a whole month and no answer on what's going on.

This is one of the worse BMO branches. No one in line and had to wait. Told by two different employees that they’ll be with me. There is absolutely no one in line and they don’t want to take care of clients. Waited for long till I decided to leave then they want to assist the person behind me making line also. I guess this is acceptable by management.

The attention was very good. I opened my account in this bank and everything was very fast. The attention they always gave me, from Mr. Marvin Alvarado to the security girl, was very excellent. I am writing this review on behalf of my mom. She had went about a month ago in to apply for a credit card. The person who helped her was a young Hispanic male. My mother says that she felt discriminated. He acted as if my mom was asking for spare change. My mother had brought in all her needed documents and the man acted as if my mom was a nobody and didn’t have any thing that is needed to apply for a card. My mom has been waiting for her card for over a month now. Yesterday she called and asked what was happening with her application as the card never arrived. She called and told her THERE WAS NOT AN APPLICATION SENT FROM HER. I am in disbelief and angry because this person not only discriminate my mother but did not even send my mothers application. Because of these people is why many non English speakers do not take advantage of opportunities. Just because my mother does not speak English does not mean she can not and will not get accepted. May he get his karma back and may he get fired because this is so unacceptable especially since this bank is in a Latino majority neighborhood. SMH

I went to this location instead of my normal location because it was supposedly closest to where I was at the time. I had been to a different branch the day before and the banker instructed me on what to bring with me when I came back to open an account. When I got there the banker didn’t really know what he was doing, he insinuated that the email of my ein wasn’t original, then still couldn’t open the account because his bank manager allegedly wanted to pull a certified certificate of good standing, instead of taking the one I brought in based on what the banker the previous day had informed me to bring. Specifically (and this is the fourth or fifth location I’ve been to since I started banking with BMO years ago) I was told the branch will not pull the certificate of good standing because of the costs, and therefore I have to pay for it and bring it in. So maybe this is an issue of inconsistent practices, but either way the visit was a waste of time and I’m disappointed in myself for not going to the banks I normally go to.
