Going to give this location a 0/10! Respectfully but blatantly accused me of committing bank fraud. I even showed the bank manager state issued work badge, my 3 day expired id, foid card gave my address, and wrote down my social, only to get offered $100 withdrawal of my own money. Specifically manager Victor. The ATMs are constantly busted and not accepting deposits. Branch is overall useless.

I needed to reopen a checking account for myself. I read online BMO has the most locations around Chicago and in Canada since the Bank is based in Montreal Canada. This is the perfect fit for anyone who needs American or Canadian Currency from a bank with fund access and support in Both countries.I entered and Mel was my teller he was friendly and social and not the hard sell I had in my other bank visits with other companies. It was kinda refreshing to be honest. I told him what I was looking for, he listened. He told me about their other plans briefly with highlights, I said no thank and he stopped. The stopping part is by far the most important as other banks ignore you and continue their sales pitch. He started the process and sent me to the next person Alexandria.I have to mention having a face to my banking is always better than starting a conversation about what a screen said. She was already processing my account when I sat down, she helped me setup the account, she even helped me acclimate to their app. That is also extremely helpful when navigating technology having someone show you the "shortcuts". I even received my debit card same day and saved money by going paperless.The office was nice and clean, no broken ATM's (which is a thing if trying to bank at other places on Elston) If you walk into a bank and their ATM's are broken turn around and walk away.Their parking lot is ample and the whole trip was less than 20 minutes. I would highly recommend the bank and their Employees Mel & Alexandria.

I'm an actor. I got booked for a job with a stipend. I cashed the check and it was fake. The fake casting director demanded most of the check back. BMO Harris frozen all accounts even the ones that weren't involved. They told me to file a police report which I did. They allowed me to take very small withdrawals for the last 2 weeks. Today which is around 3 weeks since they locked up my accounts. They still didn't complete their investigation. Today they refused to give me any money from my accounts and the bank teller just sat for about 45 minutes making phone calls doing nothing when I sat down with him. At that point I told him I want all my accounts liquidated and closed. Again he just kept making phone calls. I have no access to my 3 accounts anymore. I had to walk out the bank without even a penny of my money. I had to file complaint with the comptroller of Currency.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience today. I even called the national number to speak to customer service after going into the branch and was told to go into a branch for help. Clearly I didn't get the help I needed there which is why I called. Overall I'm tempted to change banks.

Customer service there tellers get you in and out. They also listen to what the customers concerns. Which I believe comes first

opened a savings account today and staff was very friendly!! the banker christopher was attentive to any questions i had. the process overall was quick; i was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

Terrible bank, wish I never opened account here. Coustomer service is not ready to help you because they don’t have knowledge about basics.If you need 1 blank personal cheque you have to wait 10 businesses days, which is insane, any other bank will get you right away! Don’t recommend!

This review is for their internet savings accounts, and not any specific brick and mortar location. I opened an internet savings account, lured by the comparatively high interest rates (which quickly plummeted). Far too many restrictive rules on all transactions; clumsy, sometimes malfunctioning website; hidden fees, including penalty for account closure within 90 days; excessive wait times for telephone customer service; unhelpful customer service representatives; account closure requires waiting for a form and having to return it by mail; no electronic transfers for major withdrawals - you have to wait for them to mail a cashier's check. Do not bank here.
