Found a chair from Blue Dot online and luckily enough they have a location in Chicago. They didn’t have the chair at the location, but the staff was extremely helpful and showed us a couple chairs that were similar (we just wanted to see how they felt sitting in them).

I love this place, it’s my favorite place for me to shop furniture… I got all of my apartment furniture from Blu dot …. But…. The gorgeous glass dining table that I got last year, exploded all the sudden by itself,, no pressure and no heavy object was on it… the incident was terrifying and horrific…it caused damage to the floor and the chairs,, please make sure not to buy this glass dining table for your safetyAnd blu dot, please make sure your quality control is testing all the glass tables…. Really disappointed with the incident, not only it was expensive, but it caused a lot of damage to my apartment and really scared me not to buy anything anymore from the store

We were looking for a dining bench and found the perfect one from Blu Dot on Wayfair - the Chip Bench. We weren't familiar with Blu Dot, but looked into them and found that they had a store in Chicago! The store is beautiful. The furniture is fun and well-designed. I really like their simple and modern furniture. Our dining room has a nordic vibe and this bench matches well. I'm really glad we were able to go to the store and see and sit on the bench in person. There's peace of mind when you know the chair will be comfortable and exactly what you want. Our only hesitation with buying the bench was the weight capacity. Since it's a bench, you can probably fit 2-3 people on it and we wanted to make sure it wouldn't collapse! Alexis was very helpful. She gave us some helpful specs on the bench, offered to get back to us on the weight capacity, and gave us some color swatches. The next day, Alexis emailed me with the additional information and we were able to place an order! The bench was backordered (on Wayfair and Blu Dot) and the estimated in stock date was March (3 months away)! So it was a pleasant surprise when we were notified that the bench would be delivered 2 months early! Alexis was saying that Blu Dot only gives Wayfair a limited supply of their items, so we'd be more likely to get the bench if we bought directly. It's so much better to buy direct than going through a middle-person anyway. The bench looks great in our dining room and it is very comfortable. It is sturdy and has a good weight to it. Highly recommend shopping at Blu Dot. The service and product quality are exceptional.

Had a great experience here. They are only taking reservations so it limits the amount of other people in the building. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We asked about various products and their availability and got answers to all of them. I really felt like the team there was interested in our vision and wanted to help us make the best design decision. Will definitely be going back for more inspiration.

Here I am mid-40s and I have never bought a couch, I confess. I have always lived off roommates or hand-me-downs when they moved, or picked stuff out of the communal garbage or thrift store when people leave. I was waiting for the right moment and it finally arrived! Another friend had recommended Blu Dot and they were having their annual 20% off sale, which makes a big purchase like this a little less terrifying. Good furniture is an investment, and I felt comfortable with the whole process, Jen helped out and gave us the space and information we needed. The items here are great: things are sleek, relatively simple, modern, and comfortable, which is a combination I couldn't find in other stores or online very easily. Buying was easy, now let's wait until it gets here and figure out how to stop the cats from tearing it apart!

I love this store. I've order furniture from here and I love the quality and the quick delivery. The customer service is great. Living in Washington D.C. I've never actually been into a physical store. So this was my first time in one and it was amazing. The in store staff was very friendly! I enjoyed talking to them.

Excellent furniture, good service and nice selection. There's 2 stores, one in Minnesota and one here. Quality seems to be great. We bought a few pieces and they are holding up well. Certainly not cheap, nothing really for under 1500-2000 (unless you get accessories or chairs etc).
