They did a great job with the timing chain and engine but it's irritating when you ask a question and they answer it by asking you to answer the question.

My sister and I are both BMW owners and have had great experiences with Robby and Bob. They are prompt, highly competent and we never feel like we're being mislead. They endeavor to give the most personalized advice based upon the customers' specific needs. They have given me peace of mind and more confidence that I can keep my old 7 series on the road.

Odd conversation as I called about some simple service fluid changes and was advised against them. Which is very new to me. Which I believe is the opposite of preventive maintenance, which is why I inquired about fluid services as with any of my vehicles I stay on top of the maintenance to avoid a bigger repair later. Which this shop seems to say isn’t worth the price as they’ll break down regardless. Referring to BMW as a disposable brand.
Wow there you have it , if you consider basic maintenance snake oil!! You saved me from what would’ve been a disaster from going to your shop. How do you classify spark plug changes and engine oil changes?? More snake oil?? I guess! WOW!!! Take my two stars down to one!
And for reference I called your shop not BMW NA, you used the words disposable in the conversation. That is your philosophy it seems.

Great shop! I've been here a few times for work on my BMW M4. The service is top notch and the guys are very knowledgeable about BMW's (place is full of em!). Invoicing and documentation is also very well done so you can have good records of the work. Most recently they assisted me in filing a claim through an extended warranty to replace a part and the process was very quick and easy to receive coverage - they did all the legwork. Shout out to Bob and Rob - you are in good hands with these gents.

I completely trust Bavarian Motors. The accommodated me with an emergency, stayed in touch throughout the repair and even completed the work ahead of schedule. They're in my neighborhood, but I'd drive from anywhere in the Chicago area for their excellent service.

Have been coming here mostly for oil changes but have had a couple of repairs done as well. They are very professional, reliable, honest and nice. They do not hard sell you but explain what is needed, where you can cut corners, and what can be put off for a time. Every time I go in for service I get detailed summaries of what needs fixing and I have never been overcharged or hit with surprise fees.

I'd rather go to the dentist than take my car to the mechanic UNTIL I found Robbie & the great guys at Bavarian Motors.I've been driving the same make & model of BMW since 2003. Bought my first in 2002 at a well known Downtown Chicago dealer who is notoriously overpriced... I took my SUV in for the first scheduled oil change service & was out nearly $500! Ouch!Then I lucked upon Bavarian Motors where "service with a smile" & "knowing it's going to get fixed the first time" still prevail. I trust these guys & I'm a woman! The same Master Mechanic works on my car as the first time I brought my car to Bavarian They perform the work or service that is asked & there is no worry of an "up sale" or "hidden charges!"If they do find something "amiss" with your vehicle, you'll receive an email then a phone call explaining their concerns/findings. In their explanation, it's been my experience, Bavarian Motors has always prioritized the repairs needed by what needs to be done right now & what can be put off for a later date. I, as a driver, appreciate their approach, value their experience, &, love their work! Thank you, Bavarian Motors! I Emphatically Recommend!
