Posting on behalf of my partner- They are incredibly rude. Not blunt as the last review put it, but genuinely rude. Do not talk to your clients like this.
We received a text all in lowercase letters, which is weird for a professional business and we were inclined to believe that it was a scam text trying to gain our information- but no, it was actually Ms Barbara State Farm! The first text explained that our insurance wasn't paid. Easy fix, changed cards, all is well. Another text was sent saying our insurance was 'Cancelled' because the payment method didnt go through. Checking the state farm website, neither of those things looked true. It was paid and it seemed to be in good standing, but wanting to be sure, we called to seek clarity. What ensued was the most unhelpful conversation known on the planet. The person on the phone was condescending, did not answer any of our questions and stated that the payment didn't go through, over and over again. She talked to us like we were idiots! When asked if our account is still active since checking on it didn't reflect on their messages to us, she said she couldn't do that. Then she made snide comments on how she "cant pay our bills for us". THAT IS NOT WHAT WE WERE ASKING!
I dont believe Barbara cares to retain her clients because none of her responses to negative reviews offers help, but I would really like to be proven wrong.

Been with this agency for over 36 years. Before Barbara owned it. The employees are nice. Barbara is rude. Transferring my home and auto insurance elsewhere.

I'm so surprised to read in some of the comments that people have thought Barbara is rude. I've been a client for about 4 years and have only had fantastic experiences. Barbara can be straightforward for sure, which might be unusual or off-putting for people used to syrupy Midwestern sweetness, but she's not at all rude or mean. I appreciate her directness and great advice, and there have been a couple times when she's put my saving money so my premiums don't go up above her making more commission. That's some really important integrity in my book. I will continue to give her my business for as long as I can.

Finding a good insurance these days is not easy. Someone recommended me State Farm insurance and I am very happy with the price. I highly recommend Barbara and Rebecca from State Farm Insurance!

I've been a customer with Barbara Janusek State Farm for almost 10 years. I've had numerous claims, changed vehicles numerous times, bought/sold houses and always had great service and someone is always available to answer questions. Super friendly and professional.

Barbara Janusek's State Farm insurance agent's office was very helpful when I needed a quote on a car. Any question I had was answered in a timely manner with the customer's best interest in mind. Their customer service was excellent!

Barbara was all smiles and nice when she was selling me my policies, but as soon as I had questions after that, she has been very short, condescending, and unprofessional. This most recent time, I wrote her a very friendly email asking about a letter I had received from my mortgage company and to find out my rates for this coming year. What I got back was: Short sentences. No explanation. I wrote her another email trying to further clarify, same thing. I wrote another email for further clarification and got no answer for 2 days. So I wrote her again. What I received was an email with no subject line, no text, only numbers. I found that to be extremely passive aggressive and unprofessional. It felt like I was putting her out by asking for information... I will be changing agents immediately.

I have been dealing with this agent for 3 months. She/Barbara sometimes behaved me arrogantly and roughly that gave me negatives vibes. She implicitly explained the issues or problems or questions without any expected clarification. She acted in a very rude way last time. I changed the agent half an hour ago and that agent is so professionally and kindly speaking with me.

Barb was a referral from a good friend about 20 years ago and she has been fantastic ever since. She's helpful, knowledgeable and a downright good person! Hard to believe we've been using her as our family insurance agent.
