I have been a customer for about 5-6 years, however next year I will be looking for a new tax preparation location, for a couple of reasons: 1) they no longer accept checks because they claimed that a lot of their customers bounced checks. The way to handle this to inform customers that they do not accept checks at the initial point of contact. Another way is to continue to accept checks BUT before prepared taxes are released to the IRS and the customer the check MUST clear. 2) they misplaced my taxes.

I was happy with Aztecatax in previous years. However, this year they called me to inform me my taxes were ready on Thursday and I informed the person that called me I would be there on Saturday morning to pick them up. They misplaced them. I went back to find out exactly what they did with them. Then they tell me they don't accept checks only credit cards or cash. I am not to happy, because any amount over $100 I always pay with check. They said that other people have bounced checks all the time. I have been a client for over 10 years and I have never, ever bounced a check.

Not recommended. He added a dependent that had turned 18 even though he was specifically told not to. Over the phone he said there was nothing he could do to correct it. He just didn't want to bother since he wouldn't be paid for the amended tax return. This has caused endless headaches with obtaining the stimulus checks. Unprofessional to say the least.

Azteca Tax has been preparing our tax returns for many many years. Our tax agent has ALWAYS been Alfredo. He started working on my father-in-law's tax returns in the early 90's, then my husband and I started using his services and now Alfredo is working on my children's tax returns. Alfredo has been there generation after generation to help us with all our tax needs. He's very professional, helpful, and will always work hard for the best outcome. He really looks out for his people. Thank you Alfredo for all the work you do for us! You rock!

I have been using Azteca Tax for almost 10 yrs. I see Alfredo for my taxes and I can trust him to always get me the best refund possible. Their fees are also very reasonable compared to other places. Will not go anywhere else! Totally recommend.
