I don't know what's going on with Avis and Budget at Midway International Airport in Chicago, IL. The last 2 rentals I rented WAS DIRTY. Everything had fingerprint smudges all over stuff. Seats dirty, Need shampooing. Trash on the floor. Please do better. You all went downhill and slacking really bad when it comes to cleaning these cars. When picking up your rental, make sure you take some sanitizer wipes.

Total waste of time!!!!! Made a reservation. Get to the office just to get the run around. First off, the young man didn’t know what he was doing. I was renting through Uber partnership. He had me waiting a little over a hr. Had me under the impression everything was fine just to tell me no more gas vehicles, they only have electric vehicles, and that’s what my reservation was for. So we finally got over that part to have me waiting more due to system not taking my debit card on iPad. So now, we’re back to the main computer where he put my information in just to tell me I wasn’t approved. My thing is why do you all give ppl the option to use their debit card when you’re solely basing the eligibility requirements off credit? I’m sure others like myself thinking like ok if I don’t use my credit I can use my debit. Really is misleading information and a way to lure people in. Not a proper way to do business. I’m very dissatisfied with my experience I’ve encountered today. Very big inconvenience. Also waste of my time. I should be compensated for my time at least!

This place cars are trash and I’m talking big trash I’m talking brakes are always bad on the cars they never answer the phone you go in person then there is no answer to the problem your having just they don’t have any cars to rent out mean while the car you’ve rented breaks is screeching and screaming

Great service, owner is amazingtheir service is amazing, very kind workers who do their best in accommodating when the company doesn't provide them with enough cars. Best in town and low prices! Sometimes their website can be iffy due to it not being real-time or live on their inventory, which I understand it can cause some frustration on some people, but this place is reasonable and offer other locations if they know they're low on stock!

This location advertise on uber platform but usually doesn't have uber cars. They also lack in communication with customers.

I made a reservation. Day before pick up I get a text to confirm my reservation and I do all the check in online. One hour after I completed that I got a phone call saying that actually they don’t have a car for me

This place is terrible, this location specifically. They give out bad cars with terrible suspension problems. Then when you ask for replacement car they don't give 1 after you paid an entire 337. So you're stuck without a drivable car after paying a fee. They then tell you to take car to get service, even after mechanic tell you the car steering column is completely wrecked and relay the message they STILL refuse to give you a replacement car. The manager Julio or whatever dude name is is completely awful.

Great service @ the Avis on 81st & Cicero. I've rented at this location a few times over the past 7 years and always had good service.However, my experiences in 2022 have been EXCEPTIONAL! Julio, Mike, and the rest of the team have taken great care of me this summer as I've rented from them on multiple occasions.Whether in-person, on the phone, or via email they've been attentive, responsive, knowledgable, and pleasant.I've rented at another south suburban location, that was closer to where I stay on these trips home, but I never patronized that location again after one time.The guys on 81st & Cicero put the capital "S" in Service.If you're looking for excellent service and the best rates, this is the Avis/Budget location for you.

0 starts if possible. Their star customer service does not cease to amaze me. Booked a car with them and prepaid it 4+ days in advance. After being charged for the entire rental, Their superstar Julio ( Does not want to give me the last name) calls me and says they don’t have cars and we have call corporate and cancel the reservation and request the refund. Refuses to help, horrible and poor customer service. Shame on you “Julio” - pretty sure that’s not even his name. But you’re in the K5L, oak lawn location- you know who you are.

Poor experience, poor communication, poor everything!!! Do not waste your time. Made an online reservation just for them to call and say there’s no cars. They gladly still took my money and said for me to dispute the charge and late fee…. So wow, why now I have to take on triple the work for something they could easily reverse. No refund has been given
