Worst experience ever. Please beware going to this auto zone. They will profile you while you are shopping and looking for the right tool. As a business owner, I would never instruct my security or staff to bother a customer that isn't causing harm and just looking for the correct item for themselves. They way I was racially profiled makes me sick to my stomach. I'm in auto zone all the time and I will not be going back to this one for sure because the staff and security that worked 7/8/2024 was rude and not appropriate with how a paying customer is suppose to be treated especially when the person is a owner of multiple businesses in the area. Will be reaching out to corporate as well and discussing legal action with my attorney. The security and staff that worked this day besides the short hair front desk guy needs to be fired and re trained on proper engagement with customers.

I had an excellent experience in this store today. Thanks to Rob Williams and his staff, I saved $128.65!
A few days ago, I realized the headlight on my driver's side was out. I needed to get it changed because I was taking a road trip to Minnesota for a graduation in a few days. I drive a Cadillac SRX and decided to go to Goodyear in the South Loop, rather than go to the dealership. They tried to charge me $30 for the bulb, and $135 standard hourly labor to put the bulb in! Really?!? It was insulting, particularly because I believe the men in that repair shop thought they could "get over" on a female customer, until I questioned why they would charge me an hourly rate for something that would take 15-20 minutes to do, and the labor was 4x the cost of the actual part!!
I called a family friend who recommended I go to the AutoZone on Cottage Grove for assistance, and ask for Rob. When I entered the store, the staff was very polite and professional. I told Rob Williams, the store manager, my issue and he followed me outside to look at my headlights. He sold me the part and offered to replace the bulb. Rob changed my bulb, and sold me an easy to use Headlight Restorer Kit, to clean and remove the yellow oxidation from the plastic. I spent a grand total of $36.35! Thank you Rob Williams for your assistance and professionalism. I will recommend this store to my family and friends!

Came in yesterday 11/9/23 for some wipers everyone working was very nice and even made sure the wipers were correct picked up some oil dry and they even walked it out to my truck TOP NOTCH SERVICE GREAT STAFF!!!!!!!!!!

I came in to this AutoZone on 10/24 around 830 pm to buy a wheel lock as someone broke into my car. JJ and the cashier made my experience wonderful so polite and knowledgeable. JJ went above and beyond seeing me at my car struggling to work the wheel lock and he came out to assist! Great customer service

JJ was awesome before I knew it he had already put my blade on! I'm standing here waiting he was already done that is so awesome and he was very patient with me the people are very nice and I am very pleased! JJ also helped me put my plate back on my car that had fallen off. He definitely went the extra mile and I appreciate it very much!
