Last February we bought a Buick from John and it’s been a great vehicle. These guys are straightforward with everything. They met me at my price and they shipped it to me with a flat price. It was a great deal everything went smoothly. Communication was great would recommend to anyone.

Crazy how I was here for a whole day to do my order for my new car and literally left and my engine shut down while getting of the high way one of the most scary and stressful things I can ever go through. Spending thousands of dollars just to be scammed and ICANT GET a refund because I signed these contracts..???

I stopped by Auto Boutique looking for a VW they had posted and I ended up leaving with a Pickup truck they had just got in . Imagine that from a car to a truck but this F150 was in such good shape and the price just so reasonable I could not pass it up.Anyone in the market for a car should definitely check these guys out. No pressure and very informative. My wife gonna be looking soon and this will be my first stop.

John Cox has a cock attitude. Emailed and messaged him about a car, acts like it's up for sale. Once I texted him he becomes a smart ass saying someone put a loan on it and etc. When I call him he wants to be a smart ass over the phone unless I was there in person with his punk ass.

Mr. Madigan, owner, has a very casual relationship with the truth. He also cheated me. He defends the lousy quality of his cars by saying he didn’t build them. But he’s a grease monkey! Rented a car (3 in the end) for 3 months. First one broke down. Second one broke down. Third onebroke down. This was 2 months into the rental. Was done with him by then. He said he’d give me a pro rata refund. He didn’t. He cost me another grand because I had to rent a car from a real company. Oh. I almost forgot. When I picked up the first vehicle he re-traded me which cost me another $300.Deal with this business at your own risk. Better yet, go elsewhere.

Unfortunately I am displeased with the purchased I made with this company. I had purchase a 2013 ford fiesta and did not realize some of the issues the car had. (Note to buyers check the AC, radio, and all electrical functions) as I did not and noticed these things didn’t work the next day after my purchase. I called the following day to see if these repairs could be made. John the sales rep said he could schedule me in as soon as possible and seemed helpful at the time. Brought my car in and it all seemed fine.The next day I was waiting for an update and didn’t receive any news. I called and spoke with Zak the manager and he said he was sending emails and would get some estimates on the cost and parts. I found this interesting that they wanted me to pay a deductible for a car I owed for a day which was said to be 100 per repair. John got back to me and said unfortunately these aren’t covered through the warranty but they will take a look at the car and see what they can do.Days passed by and still no news. I decided that my car was no longer a priority as the car was paid in full. I told them I needed the car fixed and they gave me the run around so I decided to take it to the dealership. Unfortunately the car had some other issues that wasn’t disclosed in the beginning of the sale. Issues with an excel and shockers. I understand this was a used car but you want to do business with an honest company.I will say that fortunately the car is not a total loss and after paying a few thousands to the dealer the car is in tip top shape. Btw I tried to get the axel and shockers fixed with John but he stated the shockers were not covered and the axel could be looked into for a possible fix. This was after he became a bit combative and said he’s not a mind reader and can’t predict when the car will have issues. Which made no sense because that’s not a mind reader it’s a psychic lol. Maybe I’ll post the text message from him here so you all can see I’m not lying about that. I will post the broken axel the dealer found as this should have been specified when purchasing the car. All I will say is check everything and see what is covered and what is not before buying from this place. They will not take ownership of any issues once you leave that lot!

Terrible is a better way to describe their rating, 'Not good' (one star) is giving them the benefit of doubt. We came from Michigan to purchase a car because we had good luck with relatively honest, dealerships that have Integrity and act professionally, what a surprise we got after they had our money. Our 19-year-old son purchased a Toyota using all his money. He noticed some 'road noise' only the way home but thought it was the tires. My wife drove the car a few weeks later and knew there was a problem (probably only 200 miles since bought). I am hard of hearing and our son does not have enough experience to realize there way an issue. Turns out we had to have the trany replaced, $3,400. Called up and talked to the salesmen and owner, both were rude, interrupted and screamed at us. I gave them the option of refunding any amount, even $500, They blamed, lied and just said DONE DEAL, DONE DEAL, ITS OVER. When we were looking they told us they stand behind their cars-NOT. Major scammer, rip off dealer with zero integrity, professionalism, respect, or honest bone in their bodies. There are way too many dealers in Chicago to even think about going to Auto Boutique scam shop. Totally took advantage of a 19 year old. To Bad, so Sad!

I write this stellar review because my experience with Zach of Auto Boutique was other worldly. I am a baby boomer so not so into online life. However, to call Auto Boutique a used car dealership would be disingenuous. I was recommended to him by a trusted VW mechanic who I have known for over 30 years and when my beloved VW ESOS went kaput thru no fault of mine and what was once Loeber, then Fletcher Jones and now VW AH of America, screwed me over after selling me a $3,500 gold warranty, made sure it wasn’t honored, my VW mechanic recommended Zach. Our phone relationship started several months ago and ended up with the purchase of an OUT OF BOUNDS AWESOME ride for me.First, Zach, who is Auto Boutique, has a phone voice that could make most swoon..... Seriously, though, this guy who didn’t know me from Adam, got to know me via phone, was always accommodating, never pushy, treated me like I was his relative. He suggested alternatives and listened when I wasn’t interested. He even had my dead VW towed without charge from the AHs at VW of Chicago located at 1111 N. Clark – DO NOT PATRONIZE.I was all over the place wanting what I couldn’t get anymore; Zach tho, was patient even spending unsolicited time on the phone with me explaining my folly and persuaded me that there was something better. That took several more months but, lets say, good things come to those that wait. If the rating scale is 5, I give Auto Boutique a 10 for integrity, customer service – but not like the customer service we have grown accustomed to – I mean the old school kind (ask your parents and grandparents) – I don’t know how to say it any better than that. But I will conclude to say, if you desire a pre-owned foreign car, any car, call Zach.P.S. many asked me over the course of these many months how I know “this guy”. I think that’s b/c no one could believe I could put my trust in a “used car dealer”. Well, I, and my dear parents have been screwed over 1 to many times by the dealerships. No more dealerships for me - not for service and not for purchase. Auto Boutique has my business as long as I continue to drive!

I started coming here for service on my truck and car over a year and half ago and have had nothing short of the best experiences with Zach and his team. About 6 months ago I traded in a car and John helped me with purchasing a new to me car. An hands down was the best sales service I've had buying a car or truck. would highly recommend this business to anyone needing service or looking to buy.

I went here on whim, not really sure if I was ready to sell my car…or what car I wanted to get into to….and John was like a hot knife through buttah’. He just made the whole experience really easy for me, and wasn’t pushy about anything. My dad was with me, and was kind of stunned at how cool and calm he was as a salesman for “such a young fella”. All his suggestions were up the alley of what I was looking for, and he worked with me on what I needed to make the deal happen all around. A really great experience through and through. I’m not a “review guy”…but, this guy deserved one. Thanks again, John.
