I went twice to look for my lost dog and the lady said they don't take animals from Chicago. So what are they doing in Chicago? Let me find out you guys gave my dog up for adoption. I have a recording of the lady clearly stating they don't take animals from Chicago. Even when I told her well she's been missing for two weeks she could have gone to a suburban area. She still would not let me it. This place needs a clean up of customer service.

Went Saturday to try and adopt a dog, the person at the front was very rude. Told us to fill out application and to drop in a box. Today I called to ask about the process and the lady that answered was super rude and laughed when I asked why couldn’t we look at the dog we wanted to adopt. She laughed and hung up on us. I this this place needs to be reported because they don’t care about the poor animals there.

Terrible customer service. First thing they did (just like others have said) is #1 refused me entrance #2 denied me services # suggested I take my dog elsewhere.

It has been a staple on the south side of Chicago for years. It is the only one of it's kind of the south side of Chicago. I wish they would fix the outside some and advertise so people can humanly give cats and dogs away instead of kicking them out in the freezing cold

When we got there someone had made a list of who got there and when, It's only fair. But the lady had a FIT and threw our list away. The entire place smells like urine. I had to wait outside because my asthma was triggered. It's a good thing I had someone with me. They do let you inside now but, you never get to see the doctor or even be in the exam room. I don't like that

I don't think this place does adopt animals out. And if they do it's very few. They hold a few to look like a shelter. I think it's more of a front to take in money. True sociopathic behavior at this place. Heinous. They messed with the wrong person today. Let's all contact these people. Even if you can only call one. It will help. My friends and I are going to work on getting it shut down starting TODAY. IRS. 501c3. Can they be audited? BBB scam tracker. County Commissioner DHHS Dept health human services - exposing people to terrible conditions. ASPCA Local senator. American Humane Society.
