Very happy with service and we take all of the pets here. 2 dogs and turtle. Drop off changes sometimes since the pandemic so read the signs on the door.

Had a wonderful experience here. Came in today for my hamster and she had to be put down. I've had bad experiences with vets before, either not caring or knowing very little about hamsters. While I'm sad that my hamster had to be euthanized, the staff and doctors here were beyond kind. They gave me some time to say goodbye and tissues, and ones she passed, they wrapped her up for me. Genuinely the best experience I could have had for something like this <3

My fancy mouse was troubled by fur mites so we went to Animal House Chicago. Lil Mousey got the best care and all of the staff from the front desk to the DVM were friendly and welcoming. The nurse and the doc explained everything, answered all of my questions and seemed to really care about my critter. Lil Mousey got a dose of Revolution and he's feeling much better. Highly recommend!

Dr. Byron is incredible! I have taken my leopard gecko Harold to so many exotic vets who get it wrong or miss things that he is able to catch. Without him Harold would not be here today. When I first rescued harold two years ago she was emaciated, had stuck shed to the point where her toes were falling off, a nasty eye infection, and such bad mouth rot that she lost all her teeth (I also thought she was male hence the name Harold). Dr. Byron saved her by catching that mouth infection (which another vet had missed) and giving her a thorough exam for anymore problems. I highly recommend anyone in the midwest to go here for reptile care. I gladly make the 2 and a half hour drive to see him. I would drive twelve hours if that’s how far this animal hospital was from my house. No one beats the care and expertise that he offers. Attached is a picture of my leopard gecko I took recently because I thought I was going to have to euthanize her (I wanted some nice photos before she got more sick). She is 17 years old. I had taken her to a vet recently who couldn’t diagnose why she wasn’t eating, retaining water, was dehydrated, vision issues, etc, even with blood work. I thought the old age might’ve finally gotten to her. Come to find out after a less than 30 minute checkup with Dr. Byron it was a nasty mouth infection this entire time. I wish I brought Harold here in the first place. She is already much better two days on her oral antibiotic. My only wish is that Dr. Byron does not retire anytime soon!

The staff here is always very professional and does well with our small Pomeranian. He gets especially nervous but the staff is accommodating to him and make sure they try to calm him down as much as possible. Appointments aren’t too difficult to get either but should still be made in advance.

Best veterinarian ever! Especially Dr. Jenny. She has taken care of several of my pets over the years, and I am always happy with the warm and caring service I get here.

My experience was a very positive one. My two parrots are family, and I'm very picky about their care. I've been a client of Animal House for many, many years--for both the care and boarding of my birds. I always know that my birds will be treated with kindness, professionalism and attentiveness by their vet, Dr. de la Navarre, as well as the technicians and front desk staff. I appreciate that Dr. de la Navarre takes the time to go through all of the exam's findings in detail and that he seems as happy as I am when my birds have a great exam. Thanks to the excellent staff, both in front and in the back, I continue to trust my loved ones to the care of Animal House.

All staff are conscientious and very knowledgeable. They all are compassionate to my cat. They are the best!! And when we have to board our cat, we have confidence that she is well cared for with Animal House.
