This is my favorite candy shop in Chicago for myself and my kids! The staff is very nice to my kids and they are always offering up new fun items. My favorite is the chocolate and peanut butter graham cracker truffles.

Found this small, beautiful shop when I first moved to the area and it’s has been without a doubt the best candy shop I have ever been to! The Staff from Amy (owner), Kendra and Brooke are always welcoming and at your service!
It offers an array of different textures and flavors, and even many vegan/halal options. I cannot count how many times I didn’t have an idea for a gift and just got Amy’s and they were happy!
Vegetarian options: Gummy Worms, Swedish Fish, Bubs, Fruits snacks

ORDERED THREE TIMES FROM THIS PLACE….
1. CANDY IS GOOD.
2. SERVICE FOR ALL THREE TIMES WAS EXCEPTIONAL COMING FROM THE CANDY BAR AND UPS.
3. TWO STARS OFF BECAUSE THE LASTS BATCH OF CANDY I ORDERED WAS TAMPERED WITH THE WINE GUM (GOOD CANDY - KIND OF LIKE JU JU BEES CANDY BUT BETTER) CANDY HAD SOME WEIRD TASTES U COULD NOT SWALLOW CHEW OR EAT. I HAD TWO SPIT OUT TWO OF THE WINE GUM CANDIES. THE GUMMIES WERE TAMPERED WITH AS WELL SO IN THE GARBAGE THEY GO.
4. FOLKS ARE MESSING UP SO A PERSON CAN TRY ANOTHER PLACE SAD BUT TRUE UNFORTUNATELY.

If you love candy and ice cream look no further than Amy's Candy Bar! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a friendly staff and colorful array of candies and chocolates.
The selection here is nothing short of spectacular. Whether you’re into old school sweets or the latest craze of Swedish Gummies or Dubai Chocolate Bars, Amy's has you covered.
Not to mentions Amy's house-made chocolates rival the finest high-end shops in elegance and quality.
The Chocolate Shoppe ice cream is fantastic year round and they have rotating seasonal flavors. I just enjoyed a Yippie Skippy cone tonight! :)
The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help you find the perfect treat. The store itself is charmingly decorated and clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit a pleasure.
If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this delightful spot. Amy's Candy Bar is more than just a candy and ice cream store – it’s a sweet escape from the everyday. Highly recommended!

This is mostly about the service or lack there of. I was not assisted at all, wasn’t greeted, was not even acknowledged until I went to pay. Mind you, this is not a large store so it takes maximal effort to not greet or approach a customer in this very tiny space. I had to find the things I was looking for on my own, which took awhile as all the labeling and signs are very tiny with not great font imo. I circled the tiny store 4-5 times with no assistance, not a single person thought that a person circling and reading the signs multiple times would needed assistance, I would say that it was my mistake assuming that an employee sitting at the register on her phone would offer assistance when there was only 3 people in the store and I was one of them and the others were all receiving unsolicited assistance from the other employee; multiple others (a couple, and my own friend) were helped with ease. I was absolutely willing to wait for help but none ever materialized. There was only one difference between my self and the others was ⏺️. (I have noticed with other reviewers like me, this is not isolated)
There were two employees, one who helped those people and not me and another who was sitting at the register on her phone. She only got off her phone when I went up the counter with the candy I found on my own after 5-10 minutes searching on my own (I was looking for the viral Swedish candy which they had limited supply of and was tucked away in the corner, not worth the money or the lack of service). I was so confused and disappointed by the service that I paid and left, waited outside while my friend continued shopping in there with their assistance. The treatment was just so bizarre for a local store/candy store.
Regarding the candy: they had minimal unique candy that you wouldn’t find in the checkout like at TJ Maxx and of what there was that was even somewhat unique, the prices were incredibly inflated. I still can’t get over the fact that they sell store and other company branded candy in their labeled bags at 3x what you would pay at any other store (ie rebagging nerds clusters in their ‘Amy’s candy’ branded bags with half the amount and twice the price)
I truly wish it was a better experience, I was really looking forward to coming here after seeing it online but the service is enough for me not to return and the products are up to your decisions but for me just not worth the below avg service. It was really a bummer.

Owners are very uninviting . Didn’t acknowledge us when we entered or even help us . When other customers that happened to be white came in they were greeted and help . She didn’t even say anything to us as she rung us up . It is was so uncomfortable and uncalled for . It’s obvious they have prejudices . So sad .

We hadn't planned to go here but after seeing three young women with ice-cream cones, we stopped in. It's mainly a candy store with a limited ice-cream selection. For less than $10, we had two one-scoop cones (sugar cone was excellent) with a malted-milk ball on the bottom. A very nice young woman let us sample. Highly recommended!

The place was cute and there was some basic options and some cool ones. My one complaint was these swedish gummys that kinda tasted like nothing but that may be more of a preference or from the manufacturer from sweden and less the stores thing

I was excited to have had the opportunity to visit as a tourist of Chicago.... I went in on a recommendation to buy candy for my employees back home. I brought over $100 worth of candy to the counter only to be told I wouldn't be able to use cash (all I had was 1 $100 bill and 1 $20 bill). Earlier that day I took out the exact dollar amount that I wanted to spend during my day out on the town. I had to ultimately use my card which wasn't ideal for me. If there was ay issue with counterfeit money, why wouldn't they invest in markers to detect the fake money? Oh well, hope my team enjoys it...
