Seemed like a really solid neighborhood comic shop.Owner knew his stuff and knew half the people coming through the door by name. Had 3 separate hiccups in my purchase, but felt like a bad coincidence. Not my neighborhood, but bet it'd be cool to be a regular here.

Large comic store in the south side that has plenty of back issues in the rear of the store. There are very limited current comic titles that is closer to the front of the store. The store owner asked if I needed anything as he could tell I was just looking around the store. Plenty of street parking.

Checked to see if anyone had similar complaints and unfortunately, seems like there are. At first, I thought the owner was just naturally reserved and stern and that's ok. And then I was there at the same time as an elderly white couple and the tone of his voice and ambiance was literally night and day between how he spoke to them as opposed to me. Just sucks that a comic book shop is like that of all places, it should be a geek zone for ALL geeks.

This may have been Cabo’s back in the day. Pretty sure. Anyway this is a really cool comic book shop. I’m not into comics per se but they sell some really cool posters too. Staff is great.

Great comic store if you’re the other color. Im giving it one star because there was a young lady that helped me and she didn’t appear to care what color I was. But MT Greenwood has always been bigot area so I’m not surprised.

Been going here since I was in high school but now will never go back. The owner is rude and down right disrespectful to his customers especially when he had that young woman, Sarah working for him. I went back after two years of not going and nothing has changed and I will never go back now. Rather give my money to Amazing Fantasy Comics in Tinley Park because those guys are so customer friendly and really go out of their way for this customers instead of alienating and making their customers feel like shit for even walking through the door.

First went here as a kid and thought it was literally the coolest place around to be. Being 21 now I've gotten more interested in comics and movies throughout the years. I recently purchased two posters of some favorite films of mine from here and was very satisfied with them. This place is an absolute treasure trove of pure awesomeness. The guy who owns the place is such an awesome dude and was very kind and helpful. If you love comics, card games, and movies this is your go-to place. Will definitely be going back to purchase some posters and comics very soon.
