My opinion is that this hotel is designed for persons ages 25 and under!! Very minimalist, including no closets

The room was small, and privacy is low, with easily being able to hear other rooms. The room was clean, the staff were pleasant and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised with the “city view”.

Rooms are spacious considering it's a downtown location and speaking of location it's conveniently located close to magnificent mile, plenty of good shopping and food options. The customer service needs to be improved a little bit. Overall a good experience and won't mind staying there again.Nearby activities: Shoping and food

Staff was amazing and helpful! Extremely patient and worked with me and my circumstances. The hotel itself was meh....not terrible, but nothing to write home about. The bed was comfortable. Room was clean.Getting there and leaving was tricky for my Uber drivers. But it worked out.

I recently had an unfortunate experience at Aloft Mag Mile that left me thoroughly disappointed. From the outset, the service was subpar, and it was evident that attention to guest satisfaction was lacking. The most significant issue was the difficulty in getting the bed sheets changed. Basic hygiene should be a top priority for any hotel, but it seemed like an uphill battle to have this simple request fulfilled. Clean and fresh linens are a fundamental expectation for guests, and the fact that this wasn't met is concerning. Moreover, the hot water situation in the shower was far from ideal. A comfortable and enjoyable shower is a basic amenity that should be provided without question. Unfortunately, the lack of sufficient hot water added another layer of discomfort to my stay.Considering these issues, it's with regret that I have to cancel my upcoming rebooking with Aloft Mag Mile. A hotel's primary responsibility is to ensure guests have a pleasant and hassle-free stay, and unfortunately, that was not the case here. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works towards improving the overall guest experience.

Rented two rooms for two nights and was locked out of the second room basically the entire time, only entered it once initially didn’t even get to put bags in there. Repeatedly had to get a new key, when we went to get keys multiple times were told to come back, because they had a line of new renters. So while we paid for our room we had to wait to get a key until they finished checking in everyone else! Ended up not even staying in the second room. The hotel decor isn’t finished you can see the contractor spray paint and markings on the concrete throughout, I’m sure someone though is was cool, (and cheaper) but it’s tacky. Felt like We were sleeping under a bridge. Pool table is trashed, half the furniture looks like it was from an estate sale. Staff seemed cool but overwhelmed. Location was great, not sure I’d come back unless it was the only rooms available. I don’t like leaving reviews that aren’t positive but unfortunately this is what it is.

Hotel is just off Michigan, receptionists were friendly and free tea/ coffee until 11.00. Room was large and had a rustic feel to it. Hotel has a small gym and swimming pool facility. Free wifi. Good hotel with enough restaurants near by.

Nice hotel overall in proximity to magnificent mile.Pool table, small indoor pool and a decent workout facility are all appreciated.Reasonable prices also for being pretty close to Michigan Avenue’s magnificent mile.

Had a great stay here. The bar was always hopping, but if that’s not your jam, the rooms were very quiet. The location is great, just a few blocks off the Magnificent Mile with easy access to transit. Will stay here again!Nearby activities: Lots of things to do on the Magnificent Mile and river walk nearby.Walkability: Just a few blocks from the main drag, lots of restaurants and even a grocery store within walking distance.

Do not stay at this hotel they are straight liars and thieves. Currently I am trying to get compensation back from the company I booked with, T-Mobile, due to the false advertising of the tubs, according to hotel staff none of the king size rooms have tubs although that is what I paid for. Regardless, T-Mobile reached out to the hotel and Ms.Kiara lied and said that my room was upgraded. This is a straight lie we stayed in the same room the whole time. She also claimed that they did not receive any request to change the room which is false. I first came down when we realized that the room was not up to par with my booking and spoke with a small white woman with long black hair who told me none of the king rooms had tubs and that there was nothing she could do because they were all booked for the day. After that I went 2 more times and spoke with a taller white woman with long brown hair and she asked her manager and said the same thing. Ms.Kiara also told T-Mobile that they would have accommodated if a tub was requested which is simply false. I've never been one to lie I just wanted to enjoy my birthday. Apparently there is nothing wrong with the ceiling... I do not think fully exposed concrete with lettering is normal at a 3 star hotel, maybe at a crack house lol and that's at every floor not just the tenth floor they couldn't bother to cover it. I will add pictures this time since I am a great big liar lol. People save your money!

Staff was pleasant, we were able to check in early, and the lobby was lively every night. Wi-Fi was free, there was a free refrigerator, and the TV was huge. Unfortunately, the room itself was average at best. With the unfinished concrete ceiling and wall accents, I agree with another reviewer that it felt a little like a prison cell. The area rug, and the rugs in the hallways, had visible stains and needed cleaning. The pocket door to the bathroom wouldn’t stay closed, and several of the fixtures were bent. There was very little storage space for two people, and we had shelving only with no closet. In addition, the shower shampoo was empty and the conditioner wouldn’t work.

The staff of this hotel truly helped us to have a wonderful 2 day stay. They gave us an early check in, put us in quiet adjoining rooms and also allowed us to have a late check out. This location is perfect for visiting the Magnificent Mile as well as Navy Pier. It has a good fitness room, bar in the lobby and a heated pool. Our room was quiet and very comfortable.

Was not impressed. Stayed for one night for a quick getaway with my family. Multiple light switches didn't work, phone didn't work. Bathroom left a lot to be desired. Nothing felt super clean. Definitely not a family friendly hotel. We went to the semi-cloudy pool and were greeted by three grown men just sitting in there getting drunk and playing extremely loud music watching everyone swim. It was extremely awkward. Then we were kept up until 530am by a group of partiers next to us playing bass heavy music and yelling all night. We attempted to ask them to stop, but no answer at the door so we called and went down to complain multiple times, but they continued on. Only good thing is how close it is to the Mag Mile. Won't be back.

The Aloft Magnificent Mile *would* be a decent choice in this neighborhood but for the dismissive and utterly unprofessional conduct of multiple front desk staffers over the course of my five-night stay and three attempts thereafter to fix a very expensive mistake the hotel made. I was told upon check-in "housekeeping comes every day." "So not tomorrow?" "Correct." Housekeeping entered my room when not scheduled to do so that next day and threw out a set of architectural drawings, costing me hundreds in re-print and shipping costs. Were they scheduled? "No." "Why were they in my room?" "Sorry." No accommodation, no apology - assumed I was a "Whining Karen" so I put the DND label on for the rest of the stay. Mentioned to the manager when leaving. "Sorry." Called the hotel's accounting manager after I left. "I see that this was not properly elevated with the housekeeping manager; we did not address this correctly; we will give you 10, 000 Marriott points as an apology." Has that happened? Of course not. Thanks, Aloft, for making me think seriously about booking outside Marriott for my next trip ensuring I'll avoid this property forever.
