Store is clean and well stocked, but the lines here can get really long, unlike other nearby Northwest locations where their a lot quicker to summon the help of an extra employee. It's hard if you're disabled and have to stand and wait. (I walk with a walker, but can get by with a shopping cart for back and body support. STILL, standing in line with a shopping cart and a cane is hard for me). Ocassionally, they DO open up an extra line, and when they do, the coworker who opens the line is fast and pleasant, but it's a rare treat this location does that. Prices are reasonable otherwise, and washrooms are clean. This location is close to the Kimball and Belmont bus, so you can hop on down to Walmart at Cicero and Diversey nearby if you need to. This Aldi is also right next door to a Big Lots, a great location....I just feel this location is a but understaffed. They need to open up an extra line more often when things get busy.

The store is kept clean and organized. The self checkouts make it easy and fast for a quick shopping spree. It is busy no matter what time of day. They definitely have more vegan and vegetarian options than other Aldi locations I have seen.

I used to have a great impression of this store in but all that changed since yesterday. I went to the restroom before shopping, suddenly an ugly and disheveled black shorty security guard who was only 5'3" at most,crazily knocking and kicking the door, making a terrifying noise and shouting at me "what are you doing" and ordered me to get out quickly! I was surprised, but more angrily, questioning him: Of course I am using the restroom, do you ever have a time limit here? But he continued to curse wildly! After going out, I originally wanted to forget it, but the more I thought about it, the angrier I became, so I turned back to complain to the manager. I have never been treated like this before. I am not a shoplifter, nor had I brought a big bag. It was unreasonable and absurd,ridiculous and unacceptable!What he did must be out of racial discrimination against Asians, otherwise it could't be explained! I asked his name, but he refused to give. Thanks to Manager Judy, a very polite girl. She apologized and immediately called him to her front. As I had other things to do, I left and didn't know the result. He is not qualified for this position in terms of his height,strength,and bad manners. If he still work there, he would bring even greater trouble to your company, altercation,fight or even lawsuit!

This cashier (a man idk his name) tried charging me $1 for 4 paper bags that costs 7 cents each. He gives me no change at first. I go back in and ask for my change he says oh sorry, gives me 7 cents back. I tell him that's not the right amount, he says " the bags are 12 cents", I tell him okay my change would still be more than 7 cents you can't just give me random change. He's responds with "oh there's taxes". He clearly doesn't care or doesn't know what hes doing. Not to mention We initially forgot to pay for the bags & he yells "HEY EXCUSE ME PAY FOR YOUR BAGS". Which is fine okay , but If you wanna scream and be loud at least give me my correct change back & do your job right

Aldi pretty much still has the lowest prices and deals. Their produce is very fresh.

Used to be very good now the long wait lines and never having the essentials in stock make this particular store not worth visiting. I actually go to another aldi 20 minutes away to get the basics that I used to get here.

Employee Lindsey was stocking refilling bread section I was trying to get bagels and noticed they expired real soon. So i reached for fresh new bagels well Lindsey had the audacity to take them out my hands in a rude manner and tell me I have to take the others on top . I told her you want me get bagels that expired in 2 days? She replied back they had to sell according to date. Like seriously? Just the rudeness is what gets me and how she took the bagels from my hand . I left the store without purchase how sad because this is local aldi won’t come here anymore. - this happened 12/27/23 if working customer service gets to you don’t work here . Don’t take out anger on guests Lindsey.
