Had a flat in my tire and it was past sunset and already dark out. Luckily I remembered this shop nearby and decided to get it fixed there. The shop stayed open past their closing time and waited for me to bring my bike in order to get it fixed. Happy to have it fixed and they made my night. Would definitely recommend this shop for their customer service and expertise.

I used 3rd coast for the chicago triathlon since I was coming from out of state and they were great. I reserved online but when I got there I realized I wanted a lighter bike and they were able to accommodate that with some shuffling. They didn't have to do that but they went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get a comfortable bike. They are also really close to the transition area where we drop off our bikes which was something I was worried about so it really takes a load off your shoulders. I'll use them again for the triathlon. Thanks!!!

I used 3rd coast cycles about a year ago when I got a flat nearby. They were able to take care of me quickly then. I dropped in randomly today because I was in a desperate need of a tuneup. They didn't try to oversell on anything and they were able to take a look at my bike right away. This it's not a local bike shop to me, but I come here because they have great service and prices are comparable to other shops. It's conveniently located right on the lakefront path. Will be back again for service when needed.

Manic and his co worker we're awesome! They did some quick repairs on our bikes at DuSable Harbor and we were on our way. They're SUPER friendly and knowledgeable!

I was planning a bike ride for my husband for Father’s Day, but all the local bike shops quoted me at least two weeks for a tune up. Marc was amazing and was able to do a curbside tune up at our home within a day. He’s easy to work with and very professional. Overall great experience.

Bike is great, new bar tape, free upgrade to accommodate the size I requested. Shifting is exact, brakes perfectly tuned. Took the plunge and went foe a six day rental. though I’m staying far south the delivery was on point, same fee. Worth every penny. No excuses this vacay!

Marc and his team have kept us in the saddle each summer by helping with tune ups and overall maintenance. Reasonable prices and ease of getting work done make us satisfied repeat customers.

3rd Coast did a terrific job with my bike tuneup which included tightening my breaks and even fixing the clicking sound when i peddled. They are very conveniently located on the beach bike path and it was all done while i waited. i highly recommend you give them a try.

Mark saved the day! i dropped my Super73 today and my chain fell off and was kinked up. Not only did he show up quickly, he also showed us some tips and tricks to try solving on our own in the future. A+ service from a seasoned bike enthusiast!! Highly recommend!

Went here for a bike rental. I reserved online and also rented on-the-spot. Friendly, helpful service. They make sure you get a correctly fitted bike. Better price than the competition at Navy pier. One issue might be a lack of prominent parking spots nearby but SpotHero can help with that. (For us, it just meant a nice walk on the Riverwalk on the way)Note: When booking online, they advise you to check the spam folder for the confirmation email. It did end up in my spam folder, so keep that in mind.

Third coast cycles helped us out immensely at the University of Illinois Chicago for a group bicycle ride. The Vendor we had planned to work with fell through and on relatively short notice third Coast cycles delivered quality bicycles on time with a friendly and positive attitude. They made the event a success for 40+ bicyclists! Highly recommend!

It was cold, he drove to my front door, had a bicycle lift with him, and fixed my e-bike Add Motor on the spot. Overall excellent work. He came prepare with hardware. For example, I had a bolt the was not permitting my battery to seat properly to make a electrical connection, because of a previous bad repair battery. No Ace Hardware shop needed. 20 minutes and my bike was fixed.Its hard to find a good mechanic in Chicago. You can trust this guy.
