“School shopping with my daughter, and she tried on a pair of shoes, the shoe she tried on was not the shoes they gave her ! Got all the way home and it was another pair in the box! These shoes are sold out everywhere! The shoes they put in the box were a different kind of shoe, same size and very dirty! Called and spoke to the assistant manager Jalisa and she was nice, but then I asked to speak to the store manager and he was extremely catty and rude!!! I will NEVER go to this Journey’s location AGAIN! If I could’ve rated no stars I would! The way he spoke to me, was so unprofessional, and the brazen way he was talking, he’s spoken to customers like this in the past with no consequences! This lack of customer service is the reason why so many people online shop and why malls are becoming a thing of the past! Who you hire to manage your establishment will make or break your business! Jake is a prime example of that “we are human and make mistakes” (what he said to me in a catty and snide voice”), that is true but the unprofessionalism in his demeanor was so unnecessary! His co manager did a better job of maintaining a professional demeanor than he! When “store managers” treat you in this fashion, just know that have a manager over them, and that’s who you have to speak to! Behavior like this is unacceptable! As a business owner, working in the healthcare industry, I would never respond to a customer in the way Jake did, or allow my employees to treat customers in a bad manner! With so many other places to choose from, this is my LAST TIME shopping at this establishment ! Update, contacted corporate and they were very helpful, and addressed my matter with concern and helpfulnesses. Thank You.”

“One of my packages got lost and the girl that spoke to me on the phone on 8/23/23 around 5:30pm was the sweetest girl ever! She truly seemed concerned about my issue, and took several measures to try to help me and kept apologizing and sympathized. Best customer service I’ve gotten in a while! Usually I’m used to hearing “sorry just call customer service” But this girl, and there was another girl that helped afterwards were so so helpful.”

“Found the exact shoes I was looking for in less than 10 minutes and happy with the price. After too many bad experiences at other shoe stores and chain-store shoe departments, I only buy at Shoe Carnival. Staff was busy opening the store - I did not go their for their customer service (although I have had positive service experiences in the past). ALWAYS happy with selection and price.”
