“Been living at Apartments of Orland for about 18 months. I couldn't be happier. The price is good for the suburbs. The two bedroom unit has two bathrooms. Cats are allowed. There are only 6 units per building. Trash dumpsters are close. Washer and dryer is inside the building. Heat works great. Parking is plentiful. I'm on the second floor and can hear some movement upstairs, but its really minimal. The balcony is nice and the area in front of my building is an open grassy area and the sunsets are spectacular. There are plenty of birds around, if you like the sounds of birds (which I do). When I worked remotely over summer with the windows open, people would ask if I was in a birdcage. There is a great walking trail around a small lake about a block away with plenty of wildlife. Just watch out for those crazy geese.I've only had to contact maintenance twice for minor issues and both times they were quick and kept me updated by email. When I first moved in, one of the maintenance workers even stopped to help me carry a couch upstairs. The parking lot is clean. This year they even painted the balconies to keep the outside looking nice and repaved the parking lot. It's a safe area with every shopping convenience nearby.I don't know if this was the apartment management or the city of Orland Hills, but during COVID Christmas 2020, they even had Santa drive through on a sleigh, which I thought was really great for the kids. Regardless who put that on, it was a thoughtful gesture during restrictive times. The only negative I can really come up with is a common issue. Like most places with an AC wall unit, it doesn't reach the back very well.”

“I love the property and my apartment. Everything is an close proximity. Danielle, Kristine, Emily, Angela are always making my experience here very pleasant. As far as the maintenance crew: Pat, Steve, and Squire they are extremely helpful and knowledgeable with any maintenance issues that may occur.”

“Management and staff are great. However, I have had numerous packages that were delivered stolen. I reported the issue and as of today there has not been any emails/ signs posted about stealing other tenants packages.”

“Was EXACTLY what I needed after a long night out. The bed was very comfy and inviting. The shower and water was SUPER hot which I loved, and overall, everything was pretty clean! My small gripe was the small bundle of baby ants that lingered right by where the fridge was, but other than that? I'll make that a place to stay for sure in the future.Rooms: Nicer looking than I expected!”

“I want to take the time out to post here about my experience here in Green Oaks. I have been here for 6 years now and moved in when I got divorced. It took some time to get in because there were steps that were followed and now I see. The area here is quiet, very convenient to major highways and great schools. Denise and Tamekia will take that extra step to make sure things are getting done when work orders are out in. We all know everything isn’t going to be perfect and things will break but the time to get these things fix is done in a timely matter and I haven’t had any complaints with repairs. I do know they make sure their residents are happy by taking that extra step if needed. All the units has been updated to the modern look. I’m very please living here as I just signed my lease again.”

“I’ve been here for 3.5 years and the answering service is very responsive to situations when calling in, maintenance always keeps up with the upkeep of my apartment and keeping up with heating and cooling. They keep pest control on top of keeping rodents away and keep a cleaning crew here regularly to keep the vestibule, laundry room, and the stairs clean. They also keep up with keeping salt down when it snows and plowing and shoveling. Liz is a great property manager. She is very understanding and responsive and works with you if you keep up with communication with her. Job well done!”

“I've been living here since November. A lot of people have made nasty comments re the towing. It's actually VERY SIMPLE. If you're a RESIDENT park in the RESIDENT SLOTS. that doesn't mean you can park in the visitor slot. Tow companies do not look for a resident sticker when they check the VISITOR spots, they check for a VISITOR sticker! If you don't put a visitor sticker on your car even if you are a resident and you're parked in a visitor spot. You will get towed. I have not done that so I've never been towed, and I have just taken the loss and will sometimes walk 2 extra minutes since there is limited spots. Big deal. Read your contracts, because that is the SMART thing to do. And if you aren't sure ASK QUESTIONS before you act. It's sad people get so defensive and childish over such simple things. All in all I've had an easy experience living here at scenic trees. Amada is always nice and will help as soon as she can as she is in the office most of the time and has a lot on her plate. Don't be unreasonable people PLS. There's enough stuff to stress about.”
