At first the company was good. They seemed sweet and would work with people; however, don't let the mask fool you. Due to mental health reasons I lost my job and they said " There are a lot of jobs out there." They honestly don't care about the tenants only their money. They will "repair" things but putting mirrors over holes, floor tiles for backsplash, and etc. They will find every way to save money and not repair what is needed. When I moved in they didn't even have the fire alarm set up. Now I'm not saying that I was the best tenant in the world... because I definitely wasn't... HOWEVER.... they are one of the worst rental companies I have ever rented from.

Worst landlord I've ever had. Dead squirrel in the apartment upon arrival along with other filth and nearly every surface being sticky. Exceedingly high levels of disrepair. Leaking air conditioner that they refused to fix correctly resulted in mold, maggots, and damage to the apartment. Lease was terminated after asking for repairs to be done correctly. Maintenance will barge into your home unannounced at odd hours. Just a bad experience all-around.

My daughter rented an apartment for 6 months ( lease was agreed upon) she was never late on rent, never caused an issue. I’m just going to say, her father and I went and moved her out when her lease was up and I personally cleaned that apartment so I know what was done and what wasn’t! I totally understand not getting a full refund for a security deposit but they checked stuff not completed that I done myself!! If I was a person moving out, don’t clean anything because out of a 250 security deposit we received a 36.00 check in the mail! I guarantee that apartment was way nicer when she left then when we rented!

I have been leasing with wood rentals for over 2 years now. I am very happy with wood rentals and my apartment. The property is always very well kept, maintenance responds promptly and the office staff (especially Rachael) is consistently helpful. Jim is a great landlord!

I love Jim and Rachel. They are always there when needed. Also available to solve an issue. I've been with Jim for a year now and I am planning on staying to stay until my graduation in 2020. Sure I may find cheaper rent but not sure I could find such a great landlord!

Been a tenant for about three years! Rachel is AWESOME! Jim is very understanding and willing to work a plan out if needed. He is one of the BEST landlord's in Charleston. If there is a problem please believe that your are the problem! I highly recommend

Do not rent from this owner! You will not get your security deposit back and you will be charged for literally everything. Your cable may be "accidentally" turned off due to them "not knowing" someone has a current lease. Save yourself the trouble and headache and rent elsewhere.
