The EIU Multi Cultural Center was opened December 15, 1970, and is located across the street from Old Main at 1525 7th Street. The center serves as a positive force in the community to help bring together students throughout the campus as a place where students get that feeling of “home” for studying, relaxation, social events, retreats, etc.
