“the stigma of car dealerships is not lost on me, I've been through the ringer with car salesmen and have a lot of friends in the industry. I popped in to Geralds with no intention of purchasing a car, just exploring my options at any dealers where I was at after little to no luck with buying from a private seller. my first visit here, I will say, the salesman who assisted me and allowed me to test drive the car never so much as introduced himself. But, I liked the car and it was a good ish fit. On my way out, the owner caught me outside and introduced himself, offered to let me just drive it back to my boyfriends to get his expert opinion and told me he's running a small, reputable business with nothing to hide. That stayed with me. I hit a few more places, but that Subaru and encounter stood out. I reached out via their website with a few questions and Raul was quick to answer my questions and lend a hand. I returned the following day to take it for another drive with my partner in tow. We voiced a few concerns and he was quick to assist. I can't speak for the lenders they use, as I was able to move my funds around and show up with cash to complete the sale, but it was all handled promptly and professionally by Raul. I am very happy with my purchase thus far, he followed up and immediately sent me the carfax that I requested to check recent tire rotations and oil change records. I absolutely recommend Geralds, thus far a way different experience than any other car buying I've ever experienced.”

“Drove out to Wilmington on one of the coldest days in January 2024 to shop for some particular used cars. Great way to weed out cars not up to snuff for starting/running in sub zero temps. i had 8k plus taxes to budget- that was it. Prime Ridges has plenty of options for a tight budget whereas the local dealerships where i live all start north of 15k for used cars.I put those poor guys to cleaning off 3 cars and getting them started in sub zero weather. Found a great car at my price point. Kiersten was my sales associate and was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. What she didnt know - she found out for me. no haggle pricing sign tends to go against most of us when buying a car but i did find the prices of cars i looked up below kbb/carfax prices.i got no complaints. put this place on your list of stops. you will likely find a diamond in the rough :)”

“Had an awesome experience at Simotes motors! They took care of all my needs and was in love with the titan from the very first day I test drove the truck! During that time and putting the deal together and done everyone was very friendly and upfront about it all from the start! Would do business with them again! There happens to be an issue with the latch on the tailgate on the day I went to pick it up. Which things happen and I totally understand it, not only did they get the truck done in a timely manner, they had offered to drop the truck off at my home when I got home from work due to I have a busy week and a 4 month old little baby. So they did exactly just that! I can’t say enough about how it was all handled from the very beginning and then finally getting this beautiful truck home and in my driveway! “These guys were amazing! Granted I did my research ahead of time & I knew they had MY car on their lot, but they didn't know that. They weren't pushy or right up in your face like a lot of sellers. Both I & my male fiance were there & they treated us the same, which for a woman is a big deal. Like I said, I knew what I wanted driving in, but even in that they made the entire process easy! I was 100% happy taking the car as it was when I test drove it, but they insisted on detailing it while I signed papers & I must say it really did look nice! They are friendly and seems to be a family business, either way its local and small and we all need to be supporting our local, small businesses! “I think this place gets a bad rep from people who do not read and understand the terms of their lease. I I’ve had nothing less than a good experience. I’ll be honest my car had one little flaw that they couldn’t fix but neither could the dealership my car is from. It was nothing major and my car runs properly faithfully even in the cold weather. The one time it stopped I was serviced by maintenance quickly and was given an honest price . I will definitely be buying from here when it’s time for my upgrade”
