Out of all the Walmart stores in the Chambana area, this place truly is the worst one. I have no clue why people continue going to this one. It is filthy, it looks dark and gloomy in there. No one ever looks happy there. Most younger employees are hiding in the corners on their phones, and tell you: go ask someone else, I don't work in this department! The store design does not make any sense, aisles are not spacious enough. The shelves are way too high, I've seen employees who are short struggling to reach the top shelf! They shouldn't be on it, that's not safe in my opinion. If they can't hire anyone to be a cashier, I believe that says something about the hiring process or the company itself. It's time to either turn this store into a grocery online ONLY or get the place remodeled and updated! The entire parking lot also needs a renovation. They once fixed it, but it's a temporary fix that is falling apart. Let's add new management to this as well! I feel the employees would be happier and would be wanting to give a damn to work there! Because, this place is falling apart.

I was employed at this Walmart for 8 months recently before I decided to quit. The HR representative Seth Wilocoxn is a complete sarcastic tyrant that gets a power trip from being demanding and accommodating to his employees. My aunt died this past year and I was looking for some time off for grievance. Seth purposely denied my request for time off knowing that this event was affecting my mental health. He only cared about my shift being covered rather than the well-being of his employees. There are multiple instances that's I have witnessed him yelling at employees about "bothering" him in his office about time off requests approval when that is his job to do. Literally one of the worst ppl I have met in my life.

This Walmart is pretty standard as far as walmarts go. I will say they are often out of stock on items compared to the other Walmarts in the area but it's not surprising seeing as it is located in Champaign which is a larger city compared to Urbana or Savoy. If I have time, I usually go to Savoy.

Spent an hour waiting for pickup that said it was done before we arrived. Even watched a couple cars pull in after 6 other cars and us and they got theirs rite away. Multiple other cars waiting 1+ hours. Don't go to this one. Go to savoy if you can.

I have been in Walmart stores in may states, but I can say without a doubt that the store # 1734 is quite below my rating selections. I am precisely talking about the online ordering department.I have tried many times to place an order whether it be in the food line department or in other departments there is always a problem. The order is split up even though I am placing a pickup order. This time I decided to call before my husband went to get the pickup part of the order which would have been 14 items. To my amazement they could not find my whole order at the WalMart store#1734. So, after they had to go and check it out and call me back. They didnot have my order at their store and they didnot know where the order was placed at! I went to the WalMart website for my favorite store where I had always placed my orders, and this is what happened this time. So, I told them to cancel the whole order. Please, do not place any orders after "five" PM because you don't know who, what, when, nor where these thinks will end up. Also, when you call to one of those call centers they donot understand what we are saying and I surely can't understand what they are saying. I was told this time that I did not place my order with walmart I placed it with a third party, like I know who "WalMart's" third party sellers are. WalMart if you are going to try and copy what Amazon is doing please do better than your competition and get it right.

I have had to use this Walmart so many times and every times it's been terrible. One time was re directed to another department and given a number to call and it was a disconnected line. Store is always filthy, and so unorganized.

I called and talked to Rickey, they had the tires in stock and replacement is first come first served. He offered me the warranty on the tires, gave me an estimate of an hour to do the work. I think I only waited 30-45 mins, brand new affordable tires, fast, friendly, knowledgeable, answered all my questions, great customer service.

When I walked into Walmart Supercenter I was not greeted at the door. Then me and my family went to use the restrooms and every single toilet in there was disgusting. Some had human feces in the stalls. I was then going to do my grocery shopping after I went to the restroom with my daughter and we were judged the whole time. All the employees were just standing around doing absolutely nothing and making snarky remarks towards everyone regarding the characteristics of the customers. It was a very toxic environment overall. I do NOT recommend going to this Walmart. I will be contacting headquarters regarding the professional managers and there ability to maintain a healthy work environment.

I placed an online order, and even before picking it up I received an email that said it had been picked up. Called the pickup department and was told they probably gave it to someone else by mistake. The supervisor suggested I call the 1-800 Walmart number to ask for a refund. Waisted a lot of time on the phone trying to get this matter resolved. Online orders are supposed to be for convenience, but this ended up being a headache.

Worst Walmart I have ever been to, I should have known better. Placed an order for pickup yesterday at 1:45PM for one item. After ordering I received an email that my pickup would be ready no later than 8pm that day. At 7:30PM I received an email that said the item has been delayed. I get it, store is busy with Black Friday. 6AM I receive a notification that my order has been cancelled due to items out of stock. Nice. Why was it offered on the website if it was out of stock and why did it take 16 hours to figure that out? Already replaced the order at the Savoy store which I should have done in the first place, we'll see how this goes.
