I contacted Matt Difanis on a recommendation from a friend and I couldn't have asked for better realtors, Matt and Missy took us to see many houses and at each one, my partner and I learned a little bit more about things to look out for when choosing a new home. They both have a great eye for potential problems in old homes, I'm honestly a little sad that we found our dream home and won't be seeing them every week any more.Highly recommended realtors.

The Difanis team helped us find our new house and also helped us sell our previous house. Matt is extremely knowledge about the CU area and took the time to look into the questions that we had (e.g., zoning maps, etc.). He offered practical and helpful advice during the inspection and negotiations. Missy listens extremely well and is very detailed oriented - for example, she had a thorough checklist and expertly went over each and every item. As we were first time home sellers, they were also patient with our questions and lack of experience. They did an amazing job listing and promoting the house, and the sale went smoothly. Their responsiveness, guidance, and attention helped ease the stress throughout. We were referred to the Difanis team by a coworker, and we feel very comfortable recommending them to anyone on the market to buy or sell!

Matt Difanis and his team are extraordinary individuals. They're whip-smart. Their attention to detail is superb. Their ability to plan the sale of your home, then flow through issues is only second to the nature a river demonstrates. Matt Dinfanis doesn't play with you. He doesn't butter you up like a biscuit. He tells you exactly what you need to hear. He gives sound advice, and relies on a team that are among the best I've seen perform their work. Don't hold back good questions; he has better answers. Those answers aren't always what you *want* to hear, but they're answers you *need* to hear if you really want to sell your home. No jokes, no puns, no B.S.: Matt Difanis is real, and really good at what he does.

Outstand! Amazing! Knowledgeable! Dedicated!It would be difficult to describe the Difanis Team in one word. I'm extremely pleased with the results that I received through this team's/my team's efforts. I refer to them as my team because from beginning to end I was never alone in my search for my home. My team erased my concerns, worries and doubts with kindness, compassion, knowledge and understanding. They listened to what I "wanted" in a house, learned from our interactions and provided me with what I NEEDED in a home! Words can't express my gratitude. Proud to have them as part of my team!

My husband accepted a job half-way across the country, and of course, they wanted him to start as soon as possible. We needed a house immediately! Colby Knapp of Matthew Difanis - RE/MAX was a godsend in a very stressful, time sensitive situation. Despite our contacting her last minute, she went out of her way to accommodate us. Aside from being one of the sweetest people you will ever meet, Colby genuinely cares that you find the house you want and that things go smoothly. Colby has a tremendous work ethic and is very customer service oriented - to the point that I started delay email delivery until morning, because I would shoot off an e-mail at 10pm PST expecting to hear from her the next day - and despite it being midnight her time, she'd respond! I flew in to Champaign for a single weekend to find a home, and Colby made herself completely available. Once I confirmed I had found the (new construction) home of my dreams, Colby spent literally hours with me that day checking out every room, every cabinet door or drawer, taking photos and measurements, and looking for punch list items. Colby actually caught a few I missed, and I am *very* detail oriented. At my request, she also dug in to find out about the housing development, the HoA, and future zoning for the area - all things I needed to know to make sure there weren't unpleasant surprises. I love that if Colby doesn't know something, she isn't shy about finding out. Buying a home long distance added complexity, and it meant I really had to rely on Colby to be there because I couldn't. Not once did she let me down! I really cannot say enough about how wonderful Colby is as a realtor and as a person, and I wholeheartedly recommend her!
