if i could leave 0 stars i would. we recently moved into a new house and was in need of new dryers and washers. on 07/09/23 we bought the samsung ones at this store and asked them if we can have it delivered. the delivery team came 3 days later and can i just say, worst expirience ever. they dryer came dented on the side and told us we would be able to exchange it for new ones. when they were taking the washer out, they ran the cable over with a wheel and was dragging across concrete. so not only the dryer was damaged, they also damaged the washer cable on spot. we told them we would like to exchange both the dryer and washer and they told us we can and they would deliver it and exchange it for the damaged ones. 2 weeks go by and the delivery team comes again, only with the dryer this time. they said we never put in a request for the washer and i reassured them we did and showed them the damage, the 2 guys that were checking the damage out went to the other guy that was at our first delivery meet. the 2 guys explained the situation and the firt meet guy says "they did the damage themselves on the spot, so it wasnt us". they were also judging and laughing at us because we spoke a different language other then english and couldnt "understand properly" (i speak fluently in english). the audacity to say that!! and they thought we didnt hear him say that but we clearly did. as they were taking out the dryer, its damaged. same spot as the other one. i told them to take it back and bring us a new onr. they once again said, we could exchange it. i ask about the washer because they didnt even bring it, and said they would deliver the dryer and washer. so now here we are, almost a month after we bought the washer/dryer set, and no new ones without any damages. other reviews and family members i see had the same problem with this lowes. worst store ever. wouldn't recommend.

I purchased a washer and dryer set on January 16, 2023. Purchase was completed and items were set to pick up on January 17, 2023. Arrived to pick up washer and dryer and was told I could not have the washer because the only two people who could "check" it in as inventory were not working. The staff tried to refund the washer and resell it to me without my knowledge. After an hour of arguing with the staff and manager, I insisted on receiving a full refund of $1478.04. The manager I spoke with the next day offered a 10% discount to try and make it right. No thanks, their customer service is terrible and knowledge of business practices are lacking greatly.

Purchased a washer and dryer after my 30yr old dryer died...chose a model in store that they said was in stock. Del set for 12/19. Automated call received on 12/18 confirming delivery 1-4 pm on 12/19. At 4:30pm on the 19th I called because my new set still hadn't delivered. I was told it would deliver on Friday, 12/23. On Thursday, I received a call telling me only the washer would deliver on Friday. I chose the model dryer because I was told it WAS in stock on the day of purchase. So did they sell it to another customer? I told them to cancel my order. Yelp reviews show that they've had delivery issues with other customers for all kinds of items. It appears that they tell you lies to get in your pocket, then string you along with the delivery process. I'll be buying from somewhere that can respect me as a customer enough to just be truthful.

I ordered a refrigerator from this Lowe's store. I had it set up for delivery. They call and confirmed (automated) that they were delivering the next day. I waited in the four hour window. Called the store- they said they "lost it". Set up delivery for the following Thursday- waited and again they didn't show up. Called the store they are now promising it for Monday. No phone calls either time that they couldn't deliver on the day (they claim they did but they have my number and I have no voicemails from them). Before now this was my preferred store as most of their associates are helpful-now not so much

If you look at my profile, you will see a one-star review is not something I give it often. I think this may be the second one ever. With that said, this Lowe's is fine if you are going in to grab something off the shelf. I'm contrast, do not place orders for items such as cabinets that have to be ordered. It will be a nightmare. The staff involved in shipping and receiving are complete incompetent. My wife and me ordered a full set of kitchen cabinets for a rental property we were rehabbing. We ordered online and that aspect was fine. The order was placed the first week of April, 2022. Over the next several months the experience turned into a fiasco. This is of course with the understanding the challenges with worldwide logistics. We tracked our order over the next several weeks. It appeared all the cabinets but two were in by late May. This is where the fun started. We would receive emails that our order was going to be delivered on Saturday. Saturday would come and go, no cabinets. Then on every Sunday we'd get an email the order was coming on Tuesday. I'd have to reschedule to the following Saturday as we weren't available on the Tuesday. Finally, I called the service department and asked that whatever they had would be delivered that Saturday. The service desk said no problem. Saturday comes, no delivery. Same Tuesday delivery message arrived again and I rescheduled online for Saturday. Saturday comes, no delivery again. I went to the store and talked to the service department in person. The person I spoke to on the phone ended up emailing Tristan, the head of the shipping department about having our partial order delivered the following Saturday. Saturday comes, no delivery. This scenario played it several more times over the next couple of weeks. The rehab house, and this Lowe's, are over 100 miles away from where I am during the week. Finally my wife made a special trip down on a weekday to speak to a manager. After discussing the situation the manager went back to receiving to check on the cabinets. Low and behold, they were all there! One of the people in received had not checked in the two "missing" cabinets. They had arrived close to two months preciously! You would think that someone in shipping (perhaps Tristan the manger) would have liked into the situation after the several emails the service desk sent. Obviously he did not. That would have been the competent thing to do. The cabinets were delivered to the rehab house the following Saturday - July 16th. Don't do it. Don't order cabinets or other big orders from this store. Go to a different Lowe's. Or go to the Home Depot or Menards in town.

Store has what I need, was difficult finding help until a guy finally came to help me. A woman was rude to him in front of customers, the environment was not professional or respectful and made me as a customer not only uncomfortable, but also pissed off myself to see coworkers treating each other as such. The man that helped me was so kind and helpful though, wish I woulda caught his name.

As new homeowners, my fiance and I wanted to do some of our own home improvements and signed up for a Lowe's credit card. This turned out to be a terrible mistake. Getting the card itself activated is time consuming and stressful, and you can't even use it in the store all the time because their system doesn't always work. It's also challenging and again, time consuming, to pay off the credit card at the end of the month. It honestly seems like they don't want you to make your monthly payments. We've had multiple issues with Lowe's shipping us damaged products or not honoring store credits, but the latest saga was when we tried to purchase an oven. While at the store, their credit card system wasn't working, and they told us that we had to use a different credit card and lose the 5% rewards. If we backed out of buying the oven, we would've lost a $60 gift card that we already applied to the purchase. They would not give us the $60 back on another gift card. Finally we get the oven ordered, and were told it would be delivered that Friday. It's been three weeks, and we still have not recieved this oven, even after being told that it was out for delivery. As it turns out, the store still doesn't even have the oven in stock. I've spent several hours this weekend on the phone just trying to track down this oven. Lowe's has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. We are canceling our order and credit card and will no longer be shopping at these stores.

My husband and I had a very rude checkout clerk today. When my husband greeted him and asked how he was he said, "I'm here". Then he pulled down his mask, rubbed his nose and continue to touch our purchases. At one stage there was a small paintbrush with no tag. He mumbled, "no sticker" and just left it on the counter. I then went back to the paint shop and found another with a scan code. I know it is difficult to get good help. There are other options in Champaign for hardware type items. My husband and I will shop elsewhere.

The customer service is very poor. The store employees go around and ask you to open a credit card not for help finding something. The store is well kept but seems to be understaffed and under poor management.

Worst customer service!!!!!! Manger Ron was horrible with even working with us and then his manger Eli promised and didn't deliver! We ordered a dishwasher online and they delivered it with damages, then wanted us to buy a new one before they would refund us for the damaged one. Promised to swap out the damaged for a new one, two weeks later we still have no dish washer. On hold with the store for over an hour, then on hold with corporate for another hour!!!! Beyond disappointed and upset

Called about buying a dishwasher this morning. The guy in appliances was so disinterested snd bland. He said I had to go in and sit across from him if I wanted delivery and installation. I asked if the store was bust now and he said "what do you mean?" I said, "Because of the pandemic I don't want to be around a lot of people. He said in a very condescending tone,"Ya...we're swamped." I hung up and spent $1000 at Dick Van Dyke Appliance World. And didn't have to go in the store.

My 70 year old parents had their dryer break. They searched the internet for a place to order from that included delivery, haul away, and installation. Most had only curbside due to covid (which we get). They finally looked on the Lowes website and it said haul away and standard installation included. Wonderful, so they ordered it. They called a few days later and said it was going to be delivered from the Decatur store instead for (some reason). They said they would call the day before with a time. Perfect right? Wrong! They called the day before and informed my parents they would drop it at the curb or in the garage, but wouldn't come in the house and if they wanted us to haul away it has to be outside too. Now, I understand the covid issues. I work in healthcare, but it says on the website basic installation included. My parents are 70, so moving machines is not really something they can do. Also, when they called after they ordered they didn't mention a thing. I had my mom call back and let them know what the website says and that they need to take that down. They basically didn't care, and it is still there. I tried to call the customer care line and sat on hold for 45min and no one ever picked up. Do you think you wouldn't have such ticked off customers if you didn't lie to them? I'm mad at you Lowes for taking advantage of my parents and lying to them, and then not giving a crap! You should be ashamed!

I ordered an 8mm socket item 1049020 online on 3/12/20. The website claimed there was one in stock at the Champaign, IL location, so I ordered it with intent on picking it up. I went to pick it up today (3/14/20) and the lady at customer service said the order was cancelled on 3/12/20 because they had none in stock. I received NO email notification. I received NO courtesy phone call. When I went to pick up the socket, they said even though my order was cancelled two days prior, they still showed TWO sockets in stock. Of course in reality, there were still none in stock, the oh-so-competent (sarcasm) staff never updated their inventory count. So now I wasted 30 miles roundtrip to pick up this socket. That's okay though, because online retailers easily pick up the slack where Lowes as a retailer has failed on every level in this regard.

Their newly-adopted return policy doesn't allow for returns after 90 days, whether you have the receipt or not. I was attempting to return a vent that cost about 20 bucks, I didn't have my receipt and anticipated they would simply offer store credit (as do their competitors). The records didn't show in their system because I paid cash. I have literally spent thousands with Lowe's with several recent, large remodeling projects. I will no longer do business here, they have lost a customer.
