1/17/24 They get one star so I can do the review. I bought an RTR that took two weeks to get and it was damaged. Took another two weeks to get a return label and now it’s been over a week and I still haven’t gotten a credit or response back. It’s know March 1st 2024. Horizon, hobby, customer support. If you can call it that claims I have gotten my refund but I have not and there’s nothing I can do about it. You should keep this in mind while doing business with these guys.. I’m out $380.00 and all I can do is leave bad reviews.

I purchased an aluminum upgrade steering component that was listed for the 1/10 RYFT. After I received the part it was the wrong size for my rc. I called to return and they would not accept. I was told "we don't have to list if an upgrade is needed for the part to fit". I went off what the wedsite/part description said for replacement.

Quite frankly, I was surprised too at the ratings for this store. I had a positive experience with them and their shipping is fast. I would definitely do business with them again. A++ seller At amazon.

I Had the displeasure of buying the Arrma Voltage around Christmas time because it was on sale. I knew it was an empty level RC car and I expected it to be entry-level quality but what I have experienced is concerning I understand that Horizon, hobby, many different companies from the weekend Wonder, a.k.a. Duratrax All the way to Pine, Losi, etc. With this being said, when I received my voltage opened it And got ready to run it in a climate controlled environment also known as an indoor track I’m making all of this because of the Customer service representatives that I had to deal with. The first run of the truck went over a little jump truck front heavy. It flipped shattered the lid. After looking for a hard find customer service phone number, I went on their website for Arrma and deal with the useless chat option, which is basically just a generated computer program that cannot respond to your questions besides gives you a reference number for your complaint and a little notification saying you’ll be contacted within 48 hours. I was contacted within the 48 hours customer service rep was a bit on the side but after submitting pictures, they sent me a new lid which was great second run the differential blew out. This time I called Customer Service and again the representative was a little rude but after I pointed out in their description of the vehicle, which I believe has been changed since my phone call, it says the voltage comes with all metal diff years. There is some truth of that, but it’s very deceiving considered. The metal dears are in a plastic housing. With this being said after back-and-forth with a few phone calls, emails, pictures and screenshots of what the description says in the features of the vehicle they sent me a new diff gear. Great. On the third run as I mentioned previously the truck scene front heavy for no apparent reason , sidenote I have two of these The first one I bought from a local hobby store, and I have beaten the snot of that with minimal issues the one I bought direct from Horizon, hobby/Arrma Which is what I’m referring to. In this review is a piece of junk. On the third one. The car hit about a 4 Inch elevated piece of concrete went up in the air let it snow crack, the chassis in the servo And when this happened, it also caused the ground wire on the ESC to come loose somehow sent the car into high-speed and burned up the motor. I have contacted Arama by email and through Customer Service and I get the same runaround. The same BS lines and this is great coming from an RC car company saying and I quote and this was straight from their customer service rep. “If the car leaves the ground the warranty is void”. Which I find funny because all of their cars have videos online of them being jumped off of dirt, ramps, etc. No one has bothered to contact me and regards to this issue. Yes, I ran the car three times all three times at head issues all three times something broke and all three times I did not even make it through a full battery. If this is how horizon hobbies/Arrma Products are and their customer support. I highly suggest finding other alternatives for your RC cars planes whatever because they are a complete joke. Not to mention through one of the customer service rep. I found out it’s faster to get parts through Amazon because they supply the stores that they deem a, one seller of their products and the rest of them just have to wait their turn so it becomes their tier. One store is an Amazon first and the rest of the hobby stores when they feel it’s convenient. One of the Customer Service representatives that I spoke to his name was Jake very helpful man. I spoke to Bill Bill had a lot of miscommunication through the previous And emails that we’re going back-and-forth sent me the wrong gear but made up for by sending me the correct diff gear for the voltage Tried to reach out to Bill about this chassis servo issue with no luck. I’ve tried calling a few times the Customer service representative say they’re direct the complaint to a higher ups Still no results.

This company used to make great toys and provide great service. They do neither now. I bought my son an Axial R/C (expensive brand acquired by horizon). It stopped working after he played with it once indoors. After about 6 weeks with their warranty team I got sent a new remote. That didn't change the problem. I tested the battery myself and it was bad. I skipped the service team and ordered a new battery for $17. I also bought some nicer shocks since the stock ones aren't really shocks, just springs on carriers. Shipping said 5-10 day. 41 days later the shocks show up. No battery. Nothing in the box to indicate an item on backorder. They never e mailed. I replied to their last e-mail to me (order confirmation), and I get a bounce back! OF course, they don't allow you to send them e mail! I go to their web page, and their contact form is literally limited to around 50 words. They don't want you to type much, since they don't want to listen. I would seriously recommend a Traxxas or buying an old used Axial from before horizon bought them out. I am sorry Horizon... You just just can't get anything right.

I purchased a $30 model from them and they shipped the wrong item.I’m guessing that’s there way of pushing unsold items out of the warehouse.I called them to process an exchange ( the phone line drops your call if you’re not a vendor btw, no option to speak with an agent at all! ) and they said because I ordered it through them on Walmarts website they would not help. I have been trying to be patient and sent photos of the wrong item, the packing slip with someone else’s order information, and the return label all with there information.Still they refused to help.Horrible experience, Horrible return process, so disappointed!

Worst company EVER! For starters they have terrible support. I asked what battery I needed for a specific esc ans they recommended a 3s lipo when in fact the esc only works with a 2s. They wouldn’t accept a return when they are the ones who told me I should purchase it. Still waiting for a refund after them confirming they would process it in 5 business days (now 10 days later). I then made the mistake of buying a battery connecter. I receive it and it is cracked and looks like a mouse chewed on the wires. If I was to give one piece of advice…save yourself the trouble and order elsewhere. It’s a pity these companies exist.

Hello Horizon Hobby & it's customer, Your prices are already ridiculously high. And actually maybe not the most expensive, but absolutely the most overpriced on earth. But, WHY do you have to make it blatant, like a slap in the face? A couple examples: BNF Plane = $20 spektrum receivers Receiver only = $89 minimum. WTF? If I use eBay to buy from Horizon, Shipping = FREE If I shop on Horizon Hobby, Shipping = $3 minimum WTF? If you preach customer service, then please don't slap us in the face while you price gouge us. I will say that I have experienced great customer service on occasion. I was once given a plane for free. Although that was to make up for months of very poor customer service. But the majority of the time you guys make it very easy for an informed customer to spend their money elsewhere. Be better and not so damn greedy. You would make the same amount of money by the volume increase in sales you will get! Just sayin, it already hurts our wallets, You don't have to hurt our morale dignity at the same time. I appreciate your time taking this seriously, John Harwood

Product was on back order and order summary didn't communicate that after I paid for expedited shipping. Couldn't get through to a human through their rat-maze phone system. Very frustrating to try to get answers. I do not recommend ordering from this company. I cancelled my order when I needed the product within a week and now I am left hanging.

I sent back my order because of the horrible customer service. This has been the absolutely most terrible experience with an online merchant. After the return was approved as well and receipts from fedex shipping they still charged me. You are terrible Horizon Hobby. Buyer beware, support your local hobby shop instead of these people.
