We stayed one night, traveling with our dog. We would stay again! Everything was modern, clean, and staff helpful. I appreciate the other reviews which helped us choose the location especially Rob's review.Rooms: The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was more than we needed for one night but we were very pleased. We travel with our dog and the extra space gave him some play room.Safety: The internal hallway doors latched and held. The buildings exterior doors latched and held. The lighting at front entrance was bright, but the parking area could have used a bit more lighting but it was a dark night.Noteworthy details: Check in was smooth. The hotel matched the online images. Parking was free.

We stayed here for 1 night with our 1.5 year old son. Our room was spacious and clean! They ensured the crib was in our room prior to our arrival. The full kitchen was incredible to have. The pool was a good temperature and has longer open hours than many other hotels (6am - 10pm). Staff was friendly and professional. We let our son walk around a few times to let out some energy and the employees were always happy to see him.We did have an issue with a neighboring room (running down the hall and slammed on our door for no reason at 10pm) but the staff handled it appropriately and swiftly.Additionally, the coffee shop right across from it is a must - go! Delicious!We would stay again in a heartbeat!

I didn't even leave the lobby of this hotel yet was charged $133!!Went to pay for a room we were intending on staying in, was declined twice. My balance was plenty enough to cover transaction though. We're told sorry, and we go to another hotel, where out transaction went just fine.Called Homewood suites 5 different times trying to reach the manager and got the run around and have yet to hear anything.Already got civil court paperwork ready to go!

No complaints with this location. Breakfast was well stocked, room had plenty of space and was quiet. Was disappointed we only were able to stay here for a single night before moving onto the rest of our vacation.

hotel was very nice especially for 3 kids but the customer service i received was disappointing. i used klarna booking for my reservation and the hotel charged me again when i got there for “incidental charges” and they stated they would refund me. 10 days later and i still have not received my refund and i have called numerous times to speak with the front desk about it and every representative has been rude and ends up hanging up. never have dealt with employers handling situations so poorly

Hotel was clean and staff was kind and helpful. Very close to University of Illinois campus, dining options, and stores for necessities. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Only stayed here for one night but it was a nice refuge from the road!Free breakfast here, plus pool and fitness center, courtyard with grills and basketball court, mini mart, and business center.The rooms have kitchenettes, living space, bedroom and bathroom.Coffee shop and donut shop are nearby, literally a 30 second walk from the front door.So overall this spot was a great place to spend a quick night in Champaigne

We stayed here while traveling on a long road trip. I booked in advance since it was Thanksgiving Eve. The property was very nice and well kept. The rooms were very spacious and flowed well. They even had an extra blanket in the closet. I used their gym the next morning and it was actually a really nice gym. I think the gym should open before 6 though. They also have an indoor pool that looked decent.

Clean, cups for the bathroom sink would have been nice. They need to replace the mattresses.

We checked in rather late and were hoping for a late check-out (around 2pm) but unfortunately, due to a class reunion being hosted here, 1pm was the best they could do. The room was super spacious and the bed and pillows provided a very comfortable night's rest. The breakfast was lacking. All I wanted was yogurt and granola and they didn't have granola. My husband wanted bacon, but they only had sausage patties. Embassy Suites has us spoiled in that regard.We didn't stay long enough to really rate much else, but I wouldn't mind staying at Homewood Suites again in the future!

I have spent over 150 nights at this hotel in the past 18 months on a work project. This in a strange way has become a "home away from home" for me. The hotel is clean, modern, spacious, and located in a easily accessible and safe part of Champaign. What really makes the hotel stand out though is the staff. I've spent enough time here to get to know most of the people and to a person they are professional, capable, and most importantly kind. When you're far from home it's nice to be made to feel at home and I've gotten that from every single person who works here. I'd especially like to recognize both Tony in reception and the GM Dusty. They have both gone above and beyond in making my stays here welcoming. Hilton properties are known for excellent accommodations and service but this hotel staff takes it to an entirely different level. I look forward to seeing these folks every time I come back to Champaign. Keep up the excellent work!

Very disappointed in their customer service. Reserved a hotel room for two nights, and later noticed the price had dropped by 20% on their website. It would have been appreciated if they could have matched the updated price.

Very friendly staff, great suite rooms, and perfect location for campus and restaurants!Rooms: Spacious, the suites made it very easy to stay for several days and have everything we needed.Nearby activities: Papa Dells was fantastic, right down the road!Safety: Felt very safe at all timesWalkability: Easy walk to campus and the football and basketball stadium
