“Orphan's Treasure Box is wonderful little local store to find resale books for all kinds of occasions. The store on Pioneer Street in Champaign has a homey, peaceful charm. Book lovers will enjoy going in and browsing for gift ideas or just for their own personal benefit. The staff is very helpful and pretty knowledgeable considering the wide variety of choices available. The mission of this place is such an important one: helping children in need in various ways. Hooray for an old-fashioned gem like this!”

“This is a very nice charity, they help people with a number of resources, such as power bills ( limits), meds, baby good bedding and houseware. They do everything in JESUS NAME.”

“I went today to get food and everyone was friendly. They encouraged me to take more food so it would not go bad . I took a huge box of blueberry bagles and several Kraft dressing bottles and dropped it off at a bus stop . Help sit food out in a pantry or hallway in your apartment community. You never know who needs help.”

“Just joined and everyone has been super helpful. I decided to join when I looked into swim lessons for my 2 kids. It's less expensive to join as a family and take lessons at the member rate than it is to pay for lessons as a non-member. I realized I could do fitness classes while they do lessons and use child-watch if needed. I was able to buy a padlock on site for $13 which was convenient. I'm looking forward to seeing all they have to offer.”

“I was absolutely stunned by the quality of items, prices, and friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I got a beautiful end table for $30 from a brand name "Heritage" (pictured with white hydrangea flowers barely any marks on it basically like new!) and 2 matching night stands also from a brand name "Broyhill" with barely a mark on them for $20 dollars each! Night stands are pictured with the lamp or mirror on them. Drawers on all three are huge, CLEAN, and slide like new. For 70 bucks I am stunned by the condition of the items. Very nice, heavy, and quality pieces that are in like new condition. Also the staff..... OMG they go above and beyond. So friendly and helpful. They were loading up the pieces in my car for me I didn't even ask for help! Those girls were hustling the whole time I was there unloading items. I could have done it myself and they were busy but helped me anyway. Seems like you don't get service like that in fancy places anymore much less a thrift store. I will definitely be back. The staff, and the quality and condition of their items is great. This place cannot be beat. Since it is a thrift store you just have to come frequently when your in the market for something (I just moved here 2 days ago and have nothing) because they never know what they will get in. I don't know who is running the place and hiring but they are doing a wonderful job!”

“A very nice, clean, and organized Goodwill thrift store. There is a large women’s section. The men’s section is not quite as large that would be my only feedback, just wish there was more men’s clothing. The home goods section was nice.”
