Poor customer service, understaffing, or an excessively long lunch break, I don't know. Around12:30, after making sure they weren't closed for lunch, I went to open an account. The teller instructed me to wait, and I did so until 2:30 without anyone asking me why I was there or providing any assistance to help me. A few university students were there, but they left as well because no one was available to carry out their duties. The fact that two persons entered the bank while I was waiting wearing formal business dress and the one person in the room hurried towards them to send them back due to staff shortages which is more disrespectful than ignoring common people. PS: I went to another branch and they were excellent!

restroom not open to clients, they told me to go to the restroom of a nearby clinic, but it is closed too

We have been with Chase bank since it converted from first, Marine, then Bank One, I guess, but at the Mattis location. I did all my banking by drive-through without any issues. Recently they have vacated their big white building, and their new drive-thru kiosks are a horrific experience! Whoever made this corporate decision will likely live to regret it. In the winter time you freeze waiting for the touch screen to respond, and now in the summer time one of them has been abandoned with a pylon blocking entry, so things are not looking up. All this time I have been having trouble depositing a check, with no one seeming to notice. Even an apologetic contact from SOMEONE would have helped. I am looking for a new bank.
