This community is a beautiful location. People often confuse senior living with nursing homes , they are not one in the same. Please people do your research on the different levels of senior living. Be aware of terminology. Be aware of the amount of care that is provided. Independent senior living is just that. Independent. Supportive/assisted means minimal assistance is provided such as a standby for a shower or medication reminder. However medications are not administered. The above are NOT "skilled " or "nursing home"and can not provide that level of care. In an assisted living an AED is not required. Please Google for the proper level of care your loved one may require.

Please do not send your loved one to Memory Care at Carriage Crossing in Champaign/ Savoy The facility is not staffed appropriately to care for residents in intermediate to advanced stages of dementia. Our experience is heartbreaking.

Please contact me for details. If you want to know a true experience and proof of negligent care. I would love to share an experience that may help you from putting your loved one in danger. Discrimination and negligent care, and bullying of families is what I have witnessed. Unfortunately, it will turn into a legal matter at this point. It breaks my heart to see what situations have occured. Also, agencies beware the director will try to kick you out to have Synergy. (Which is discrimination.) They are also illegally low staffed. I hope state reviews the personal complaints. This place is too beautiful to not be ran correctly. I'm praying for the residents and their families.

Our residents are living their best lives with quality activities, amazing nursing care and delicious food. Prior to becoming the Executive Director, I always loved working with this community and was very impressed with how healthy, happy and loved the residents were. So happy to come here every day and serve our residents.

A very poor experience for our family. Staff was not attentive and, in fact, invisible much of the time. Very expensive place for very low-quality care during the most vulnerable months (or years) of life.
