Why would you ever trust CarX with your truck or Car! They have absolutely no idea what there doing. Amateurs! If you need tires go to tire barn! Maybe they can change your oil. Maybe? They can’t diagnose most problems.

Do not take your car here. I took my car here for an oil change several months ago and my car broke down a few weeks later. Both Car-X and the Napleton dealership in town looked at it and told me that I would need a new engine, which would have cost me thousands of dollars.
Turns out, when I took my car in for the oil change, Car X put the incorrect oil filter on my car and that is what caused it to break down. I called the Midas on University in Urbana for an estimate on an engine replacement and the manager, Dave, wanted to take another look at my car to make sure the engine actually needed to be replaced. Midas found the issue with the filter and fixed my car for $150. It has been driving great since!
Take your car there instead - they saved me from a huge headache that Car-X caused. I could have spent thousands of dollars that I didn't need to spend due to Car-X's incompetence.
EDIT: The number/extension they provide in the comments does not even work.
EDIT #2: Went into the store a few days ago to speak to someone in person. They would not issue a refund for the original oil change as the filter they put in my car is the one their system says is correct. I tried to explain to them that my car is now working properly after the filter was replaced, and that two different mechanics confirmed that this filter has been causing issues, but they did not seem to believe me. They would rather defend their system, which is literally causing people’s cars to break down, than express concern and investigate the problem. Everything is dysfunctional here, down to their customer service line and computer system.

Most places I've taken my car to have given her a brief look over and told me they couldn't figure out what the problem was. it took Corey at the car-x on Bradley 2 days to resolve an issue with my car that had been plaguing me for years. I would recommend this car-x location to anyone needing standard service or resolving serious issues.

Not too happy with their practices. I was quoted a price and made an appointment for what I needed which was brakes and another item. However when I dropped it off they said they needed to do an inspection and if it was something else wrong then there may be another charge, which is fine. However, they are charging to put your car on a computer and that is not necessary for a brake change. Then when they called they said it would be $1000, so we were like no, that's too much. In fact when we picked up our car it was much less on the ticket they gave us. So I don't know if they were trying to rip us off or they were confused, but I'm not going there again.

Had an appointment here. I showed up five to ten minutes early (before 10:30). The OPEN light was on and blinking, but the door was locked and no one was there. I called to try to get to the bottom of it but you have to go through customer service instead of getting to the actual building. They were supposed to call me back when they figured out what was going on. I waited fifteen to twenty minutes before I just called back and canceled because no one got back to me. So I'm not really sure what happened, but I definitely had a weird/poor experience.

I called a made an appointment for my oil change. Two days later when I arrived. The car-x had no record of my appointment. I had to sit in the car and wait for a filter to be ordered. As the car was being driven around I asked the front desk person to ask if I could grab something out of my car before they started. She instead took a call and left me standing at the desk for several minutes. She then Said oh well you’re too late the cars on the lift. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL for a $150 oil change! I had to walk to a drug store to get some Tylenol because I couldn’t get it out of my car.

Paid over $900 in brake repairs to have my vehicle given back to me in an undrivable condition. They didn’t notice the brake line had burst or that the brake fluid reservoir was empty. They also tried to charge my wife $3000 for work that didn’t need done because they misdiagnosed the issue.

We called last minute to get a headlight replaced. They found the part and replaced it within 30 minutes. They were super friendly too!!
