I went to get an alignment after installing the new struts. My mechanic, whom I have known for over 20 years, worked on it and said everything else looked good but recommended getting an alignment. I thought I would take it to Beaumont, and they didn't even attempt to do the alignment. They charged me $60 and said that I need both new inner and outer tie rods, which my trusted mechanic assured me I don't need. I just wasted $60 for them to tell me that I need new parts, which I don't need.
In response to your claim of being unable to loosen the tie rod jam nut, I question your qualifications for this type of work. This directly contradicts your previous in-person assessment that new outer and inner tie rods were required. Were you simply guessing, or is it your standard practice to recommend new tie rods when you cannot loosen a jam nut?
I hope others will carefully consider your services. Professional courtesy would have dictated informing your customer that completing the alignment job depended on loosening the jam nut. Your subsequent post admitting your inability to free the tie rod indicates a lack of competence in this area.

Great people, great service, I have been going there for over 20 years, I am slightly disappointed that Track Alignment is no longer being done, I understand somewhat because it's very time consuming, I now drive over an hour for that service.

Had my car aligned and bought a new rim. Left the shop and lost a hubcap almost immediately. I reported this to them and was simply told sometimes aftermarket hubcaps won’t stay on replacement rims! No offer to replace. So I’m out the $40.

I've owned cars for the past 55yrs and I've dealt with many different Auto Repair Shops. When I first went to Beaumont many years ago, I have to say I've never felt so confortable and secure as I do with them. I've had work done on my car and I've purchased a couple sets of Tires. I've NEVER had to return for the same problem, because it was done right the first time.. They may not be the best in Champaign- Urbana, but they're the Best I found, and trust me, I've been to many includung a few dealerships.. They're honest and they get the work done right.. ?

I scheduled a tune up, but especially transmission filter and fluid replacement 2 weeks ago today for 8am. I went to pick it up today at 3pm expecting there to be a $500 to $1000 bill due. Unfortunately the only thing done was an inspection. $95 on something I didn't even ask for, no fluids topped, just $95 on what I consider nothing. I recommend this place to everyone I talk to. You dropped the ball on this one Beaumont Alignment Plus. I'll find another shop that wants t do the work. ? Last $95 I spend here. UpdateDesk guy recommended Crawford Transmission to replace my filter. It shifts like new. I sent my brother to Beaumont Alignment and they sent him to Pro down the street thanks for the recommendation we are both very happy with our outcomes.
