If I could leave “Zero” ⭐️’s I would. This company is outright not ran in a business like fashion. I set up services in February. Never received my trash can. Was told that they did not have any new ones, that she would have an old one cleaned out and delivered to my address(?? #1). I just went and bought my own trash can. Following week, no pick up. I’m like okay, weather was bad, maybe they will get it sometime that week. NOPE!! Second week in March arrived and still they picked up my trash every other week. I called on multiple occasions and either they wouldn’t answer or they had a lame a$$ excuse. But on this particular day, I called and asked why my trash wasn’t picked up, I was told that they had no drivers. I asked, well why don’t they notify their clients? This heifer had the nerve to tell me that they posted the notice on Facebook ?. Yep, I was done. Contacted a different sanitation company and set up services with them; and that was that! Called ABC back to cancel my services on March 22, 2024 and still have yet to receive my refund. I have called and called and called; yet still no refund and today is July 22, 2024. ABC needs to be shutdown, because at this point, it looks like I will have to take them to court. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They are very shady!!!

Horrible service. They would miss pickups, we'd call and no one would call back. Some pickups were at 10:00 at night and they spill things out of the dumpster and not clean it up. We cancelled the service and when they came to pick up the dumpsters, they took the stuff out and left it in the yard. Who does that?? They didn't even want to know why we were cancelling. Not customer aware at all.

I do not recommend their service. I spent the first 3 weeks with them calling to try and get my trash can. Then, they only came a few times to pick it up in the past few months. I have weeks of trash piling up and the best I can hope is that they pick up my garbage before my last month with them is up.

Customer service very rude when you call them! That lady in the office should change her attitude she is ruining the business name! That is very unfortunate for the business.

I feel like no one bothers to write a review for their trash collection unless they are unhappy, so I guess I'll try to offset that a bit...
Is ABC the most consistent? No, they frequently miss my pickup day, but they almost always come by the next day without me needing to call. Obviously this isn't great, but given that they are the cheapest trash collection around, I can't really fault them for that.
Lots of other reviews say people on the phone are rude, but I haven't had that experience. They've always been friendly to me.

Edit: Please bear with them as they get their trucks fixed and services back together. Apparently they’ve been having a hard time. They’ve been missing pick ups due to this. Don’t jump ship quite yet!
Office ladies are super pleasant when speaking with them. The service itself is unfortunately hit or miss. We've had the service since moving to Champaign in 2022. They've missed pickup several times throughout that time and will leave the can in the middle of the driveway after I've complained several times. I wish I could give a better score. I feel bad, but someone at the company should start holding people accountable. The effort by the trash guys isn't there. I have respect for them and everyone in the line of work, but come on.

I have had to call ABC Deposal the last 4 weeks ,because my trash wasn’t picked up on its normal day due to truck issues. For three weeks after I would call someone would come and pick my trash up the next day. This fourth week I went up there to their office and the lady says that truck issues are happening again.I just told the young lady to STOP my service and that we didn’t need their services anymore.
How can you have a company and none of your trucks are working? I am just disappointed that now I have to find another disposal company.
Well life goes on, but I can’t use this company anymore.

ABC service is extremely horrible. I know that for myself and for at least 2 other homes/people. They as well are extremely dissatisfied with ABC service. ABC does not pick up when they are suppose to. They are always behind. And they are very destructive with my property (trash cans). Trash cans are not cheap. They just throw them down in my yard. I am extremely unhappy with the service. Extremely!!!

They have had multiple instances of late pickups for my client and others in her vicinity. It is understandable that unforeseen circumstances can arise. However, it is completely unacceptable to be rude to someone who calls on behalf of a client. I was not rude to your staff, yet they responded with a condescending tone when I inquired about the pickup for my client. This behavior is unwarranted. I have informed my client about the situation, and they are actively seeking a replacement company. If the female staff member who interacted with me was having a bad day, it is important to remember that when dealing with the public, it is crucial to maintain a professional and courteous tone with customers and their representatives, especially when they have not shown rudeness towards you.

Horrible service....The city should find a different company to contract with....They miss pick ups often, no set schedule. and when asked about it the non professional lady in the office, has the nastiest attitude as if the situation happened to her. Advocating for new service because this one is not it anymore. Or they need new management !

They miss my house 2/4 weeks of the month and when I call to say that my house has been skipped, only 1/2 of the time do they loop back to grab the trash before the next day, resulting in me having to call again. When calling, customer service is short, almost rude, and snippy. Would not recommend

Hadn't had much of a problem with ABC until about 2 years ago when they couldn't seem to be able to pick up recyclables on the same day as trash. So i've had to leave the recycle container out for up to 2 days some weeks. Would not recommend this company.

Never use ABC Sanitary, the companies owner is a rude, violent and dangerous driver. On Saturday one of their drivers who claims to be the owner of the company pulled out in front of me going South on N Elm St from an alleyway. I proceeded to get his information and as I approached his vehicle to get this information he proceeded to slam his cab door in my face. Instead of apologizing he choose violence and was combative and yelling expletives at me. If he hadn't thought he had done anything wrong he could have just let me get his number and go on about his business but instead he assaulted me and ranted about how he was a professional and owned the company so he didn't care as he did nothing wrong. He was awfully violent for a man who felt he had done no wrong. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I will be sure to let anyone I know not to or to switch if they do. Can't believe the amount of anger coming from this man.

Very inconsistent with picking up trash and recycling on the same scheduled day. It's been like this for 5+ straight weeks. The communication to let customers know that recycling will be picked up a day other than the regularly scheduled day is VERY POOR! Look elsewhere for trash and recycling services if you're able to. I do not recommend this company at all!
