She has depth and is a gem to find among the other poker-face-pedestrians. She's un-matched by any other person that doesn't have any life experience to speak of. There's something to be mentioned about being able to talk to people in passing however briefly as-it-may-be, about life, that reinvigorates my otherwise growing distaste for the changes I see in the world.*TONY; We chatted briefly at check-out he too was very genuine. I'd come back because of the employees and the room is decent for the price. Less<$100.Check out the other places and pricing and be realistic about what you need.”

“The room was very comfortable, good size and very clean. The same about the bathroom.The swimming pool has a very good size and the water was very warm.Both receptionists, Ray and Connie, were very kind. Ray recognized my elite status with Best Western, and gave me 2 bottles of water.Roxi took well care of breakfast, which was very complete!The hotel is in very good shape, with the exception of the elevator. The elevator did a pretty scary noise, and it was not working for a few minutes. It needs service.Good and safe location of the hotel.The $100.01 deposit was pending in my credit card for 8 days (it was cancelled after 8 days of my stay).”

“I would definitely stay here again. Most staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfy. Having a breakfast and afternoon snack with 3 free cocktails was also a great advantage. Pool and hot tub area was nice and clean. We watched the game in the lobby area just because it was comfortable. I see peoples reviews and think they must be use to 5 star hotel/resort that comes with a 5 star price. This place is inexpensive. Location was perfect for St Louis. Do not eat at that Lotawata Creek across the street. The food was not the best. Beast Craft BBQ was excellent and close. If you go to St Louis do not leave unless you check out Union Station area. Very nice and this was a perfect time of year. If you plan on trying to do the polar express train ride, buy tickets ahead or you may not be able to.”

“Great location and easy to get to, right off the interstate. Traveling from L.A to NY and needed a quick rest spot. Animals are FREE, and two per room which is the best deal as we usually pay $75 per night at Hiltons. The room and bed were comfortable, I wish it had been a bit cleaner, it wasn't horrible just could tell the floors had not been mopped but other than that we had a great stay. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a budget friendly rest.”

“I have stayed here for two weeks while my apartment was getting finished and have had nothing but a pleasant experience. Brad & his wife that manage the place are very nice and accommodating to your every need.I even found myself in a situation that I was not prepared for (my apartment not being ready) and they were very aaccommodating .Lovely people, I would stay here anytime as long as they are running it.”

“This place should not have 4.2 stars. While the service and food in the restaurant is good, the building is in serious need of renovation, and you'll definitely need to check your pillows... ours were old, covered with sweat stains and old blood stains. The kind front desk guy replaced them with nice new ones when requested. Can be good for a quick stop but you won't want to stay here long until the owners decide to invest some money and care into the property.”

“A little awkward to get to once off the highway in the dark. Thank goodness for GPS. Close to restaurants. We arrived after 8pm and the pool was full of young people so we didn't get to enjoy the pool or fitness center. Breakfast was very simple.”

When they got here the desk was demanding payment- they refused them rooms and another guest ended up giving them an extra room. They almost missed the concert they came for and STILL have to find another place to stay tonight.”

“I have stayed there many times over the years and it's always been clean, always pretty quiet & the only problem I've had was when the air conditioning wasn't working properly & they either did a quick fix Or they moved us to a different room!! “I'm not really going to say too much about this except they're awesome and I worked there but to be completely honest you have to set the tone and their atmosphere is great the good morning the good news I just love it.Rooms: They're quite beautifulNearby activities: You have bowling up the street the drive-in movie theater is probably about 20 minutes down the roadSafety: Safety we have so many Engineers that work there that they're always around and the GM and everyone always looks out for each other.Walkability: We do have sidewalks out there so the stroll is nice if you just want to take a walk beautiful now if you keep walking a little bit further you can run into the Illinois State Police building so hey it's good to walkFood & drinks: Well I will say it is a restaurant called Porters inside the building and I also would stay that we have them everyday for lunch with a dream to work there at DoubletreeNoteworthy details: The noteworthy details about this hotel is that I work there so if you ever run into me say hello because the smile I give you will your day”

“The rooms were clean, price was a good value, and basic amenities were provided. The only issues were the lack of towels, improperly working tvs, and no elevator. Be aware, this is right off the highway and you can feel the vibrations from passing semi trucks when standing in the room or sitting on the bed. Staff were friendly, helpful, and very efficient. Make sure to turn in your hotel keys upon checkout with the same card you used at check-in to get your deposit.Overall great value.”

“When we checked in around 1am the woman working was extremely friendly, quick and very informative. She definitely understands the guests needs.Breakfast was nice and a good variety.The morning front desk woman was nice one day and extremely rude the second day. It was also very noticeable that she enjoys partaking in a little marijuana activity. I assume it's legal but not very professional for it to be so noticeable to guests when she walks in the door.”

“This Super8 exceeded my expectations with it's cleanliness, comfort, and quietness. I'm a over the road truck driver so I stay here every time I come through. More importantly the staff is always pleasant, I lost my key a few times and didn't have a issue. I needed help printing some things out from my phone and Sonia at the front desk was delighted to help, she got it done and her professionalism made me feel comfortable even asking for her help. “I had an unusual experience during my stay, but it was made much better thanks to the exceptional customer service provided by Leeland and Roz. Despite some issues in the room, such as mold on the roof, a bad shower head, and no shower gel in the container, Leeland and Roz went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of customer care was fulfilled. Although the room did not have a microwave due to theft issues, the staff's dedication to customer service made up for it. In the end, I would give the property a five-star review due to the outstanding staff and their commitment to customer satisfaction”

Looks like they are doing some updates. The pool is being remodeled and use to be open 24 hours. Lots of benefits in this hotel. I appreciate the happy and accommodating staff. “We've stayed here alot. The owners are very nice and accommodating. Most the rooms have full size refrigerator. They do not serve continental breakfast.Food & drinks: There is no ice machine or soda vending machines. There is a Hucks convenience store across the parking lot. Plenty of fast food restaurants in the area.”
