“First time visiting Platt Hill. They have a large selection of plants, pots and other garden pretties. My only negative, would be the amount of spidermites on the palms and other surrounding larger plants. It would be good to look over your plants prior to bringing them home to insure you are not bringing any unwanted friends home.”
“Recently had our paver patio re-leveled and replaced. The crew was awesome and the workmanship was impeccable. They also went way beyond what I was hoping for and changed the design slightly which made a huge difference in appearance. Cost was very reasonable especially for the work that was done. They directed me to right aisles. Home Depot has changed for the better where staff wants to help. Years ago, people would "run & hide" to avoid answering questions. Handicapped parking and access (sliding doors).”

“After years of seeing the Mulch Center's advertisements, my wife and I decided to give them a visit. We had substantial work that needed to be done requiring about 40 yd³ of mulch. We went to the Volo location and were somewhat overwhelmed by the many different types of mulch that were available. Then we met Jim, one of the operations managers, who was thorough, competent, friendly and very helpful. After explaining the various types of mulch, what they were good for, and the cost, we were pretty sure that we wanted to deal with the Mulch Center. One important factor remained, good labor to get this major project done. Without much expectation of success, we asked Jim if he had anyone who might be knowledgeable and assist us in determining what we actually needed and how to get it done. Jim then recommended Guy Seno, a long time expert in the landscaping business. Guy is absolutely exceptional. His knowledge, communication skills, organization, efficiency, and friendliness are off the charts. Guy truly practiced the Golden Rule in how he dealt with us. We could not have asked for better treatment and performance. We would be happy to work with the Mulch Center again and would enthusiastically retain Guy to assist us.”
“I rate this home depot 5 stars but I must admit I was only in the Garden Center portion. Everyone was very friendly and helpful AND this is the ONLY place I have been able to find a variety of colors of Coral Bells (huecheras). 4 stars instead of 5 because they should mark the items that are burnt, dying and/or in bad shape instewad of displaying them at full price.”

This store should be nations award winning home depot in north america The first time they were awesome then second the third fifth and till the seventh times they were amazing You have to understand being Asian not many or most greet to you at first or kinda ignore your existence from time to time But not this location of Home depot! “I want to acknowledge Matt, Assistant Manager at the Home Depot store in Algonquin. I had a problem with a storage rack that I ordered online. Two of the boards were not cut to correct size but unfortunately we didn't find out until it was too late to send the item back. The rack had already been assembled except for the boards to be put up. I was told that nothing could be done by the return desk employee, however, Matt found a way to help me out and the issue was resolved. Thanks for caring, Matt!”
