Nice folks, timely work, reasonable price, only one "BUT' and that was paranoia created when going over things suggested which, when taken to the nameplate maker of the vehicle, suggested that perhaps I either misinterpreted or they were being "suggested" so that I spend a bunch of money on stuff that the mfr. said were mostly unnecessary and no more than things to watch so shall forego listening next oil change!

Jonathan was easy and professional to work with , he set a reasonable and accurate expectation of when the best time to bring my car in for an alignment. My car was done a little sooner than expected and got a professional analysis from Jonathan including a printed readout of the alignment results. ?
I’ll bring my car back here for the next maintenance needs for sure!

Hands down the worst experience ever. I drove my car to Merlin because my check engine light came on
The tech called me and said my vacuum pump imploded and metal shavings got into the motor and that I needed to spend $9000 to get it replaced.
I asked to speak with the manager and told him the pump was just replaced. He then started to get mad and said it was a broken cam shaft! How do you drive a car 30 miles from my office to Cary with a broken cam shaft!
There is new management here and they have no problem lying to you instead of accepting any responsibility. Absolutely unreal!
Buyer beware!
UPDATE: My complaint was just accepted and approved by the BBB.

Always normally go there for oil change. Every single time I leave there I need to come back because the moment I leave the tire pressure light comes on every single time… I brought the car in and it was driving perfectly fine. The only thing needed was the oil change. I leave there and not only is my cars tire pressure light on but it’s driving absolutely terrible. Something seems really wrong with the front tires after I brought it in. Very upset with the service. No reason my car should come out worse than when I brought it in. Now I need to take it to another mechanic and drop money to see what’s wrong with it. Won’t be coming here again.

Ive been going to the same merlins for probably 7-8 years and these guys are on time and i always trust them. Theyre under new ownership and i feel as confident with the new guys as before.
