We've been banking here for well over 20+ years.It's a great bank except for posting of monthly direct deposit funds that should post when they arrive..Power bill going unpaid is gonna make me angry if we end up in the dark. Especially over a intentional hold...which needs to stop!

My experience has been amazing so far. All the people I interact with are extremely friendly. They know my name, which is important to me. They care that I do my business there. Compared to my other bank, First Mid is miles ahead in service. I would reccomend First Mid in Carterville to everyone.

The staff do a great job of being personable, approachable, and on the ball. I appreciate being able to call my local branch in Carterville and have them actually answer the phone, instead of a home office. Never had a problem here. Trustworthy, good folks.

I am an abused woman and asked the bank when I opened an account to please do not send any mail to my address. Well i sent another request since my husband opened the letter that was addressed to me & got even more abuse for it. I let them know again, but they continue to keep sending mail there. Thank you for making my life so much worse!

Everyone is always very helpful and professional. They explained all choices in language that I could understand. I've had no problems or issues at all, I am a satisfied customer.
