I love this store, they have such a large selection I can always find what I am looking for. The process are much cheaper than any of the other stores around. On my last visit it was around 3:30 pm and they only had 3 lines open for check out there were at least 5 or 6 people in each line. You could see the employees walking around and doing busy work. All of the people in the lines were looking at each other like why don't they open another line or two. Then a lot of us started talking about it. After waiting in the line for over 15 minutes right as I was putting my stuff on the belt they finally opened another line. When I looked up there was now around 7 or 8 in each line and they kept having to move so other people could get through the main isle. I can understand if they were under staffed but there were a bunch of employees. They just were not running a check out lane. Two of the employees that we could all see doing busy work were the same ones that opened another lane. This is the first time I have ever experienced this here. I have shopped here for years. If it was my first time I would not be going back. This visit was great. 8/25/2022. No lines quick check out and great prices. Went again on Friday Nov 4. No issues the lines were short and fast. 3/27/23. Fast and easy. A quick visit just to grab a few things. Update 6/25/2023, it was a quick smooth visit. I wish they would add a store in Woodstock. 9/20/23 It was all good this visit. All good again

I visited the Pit Stop for oil change in this area, and the service is on point with friendly staff and quick oil change. I drive an hour from Belvidere to this location for their great and quick services.

Woodman's has a great selection of craft beers and wines. Their on-the-shelf and frozen items are very well priced.

I'm not sure where my review from yesterday went? Self checkout didn't work and kept asking me to bag my items each time I scanned them. The employee told me i can go to a register and wait to check out instead if i would like, in a very condescending way. I'm actually still waiting to hear back from corporate after another incident that happened a few weeks prior, when my purchase never charged me correctly and had to go through the checkout lane again.

Woodman's is a great store. Choices galore on just about every product and the prices are good. It does help to know prices on items you buy as I found one exception to the cat food I always buy. It was about $.30 higher per can than Target or Walmart which was surprising to me.Edit to answer question,The price difference is on Fancy Feast canned cat food. Woodman's - $1.09 others are currently $.85 to $.88.
