We ordered a washer online, so far we haven't received it yet, I was basically here to leave a comment regarding online orders, I understand that they have a policy with delivering but I was wondering why it has to be within the company's time, it should be with in the customer time, for example today, I have to be at work and my husband have to pick up the kids from school, so basically we either have to sacrificed missing the delivery or our kids being picked up, it's not right that we can't be communicated with time that works for the customer but instead what works for the company, not everyone have free time to wait at home for our orders to be delivered, I mean I am not trying to be mean but I think company should work with customer with time as well and not just with what the company wants. I do love Home Depot but most of the company does work with some time arrangements, I just hope Home Depot works with customer like that as well.

HORRIBLE customer service is an understatement! Drove for over an hour to rent a tool at the Carpentersville, IL location. It was placed on hold for me by sales associate Teresa. As I'm walking in I see the tool being driven off by someone else! After speaking with Teresa inside I was told I only had 30 mins to be in. If that's the case then tell people that when they call because I don't even live 30 minutes away! Yes, I tried reserving it online but it was only listed as available at 5 pm, which is why I called to see if I could come sooner. Then was told I cannot get compensation for my time wasted but could get the tool for a discount on my next trip. AS IF I'd even drive back over there to waste more of my time!!!! What a joke. Also spoke to manager Al and Claire, also no help with compensating my wasted day! Mind you I was wanting the towing auger to plant $5,000 worth of trees I bought from Home Depot! Perhaps I'll return those and buy from a place that is decent to their customers!

I thought I should write this The staff members super delightful helpful and knowledgeable I've never seen this superb home depot ever. This store should be nations award winning home depot in north america The first time they were awesome then second the third fifth and till the seventh times they were amazing You have to understand being Asian not many or most greet to you at first or kinda ignore your existence from time to time But not this location of Home depot! I went there several times looking for things for our new home Talking with different staff every two weeks apart You'll notice how nice and helpful they are That's all i decided to spend my 2 min to say about this Home Depot in Carpentersville, Superb !!!

I cannot express enough satisfaction with my entire Home Depot experience today. My girlfriend and I have been looking for appliances for a few months now and have been to multiple Home Depots. We have never encountered such great customer service than we have than working with Steve W. in the appliance department. He was incredibly kind, professional and patient. He seemed to genuinely care about what we were looking for and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase. We will go out of our way in the future just for the opportunity to work with Steve again. If I could give more stars for today's service I absolutely would. Just look for Steve W.

Frigidaire FGGF3059TF Less than 2 years old and the damned thing failed midway through cooking the Thanksgiving meal. Food ruined, family and guests left hungry. If you are shopping for a stove DON'T even think about a Frigidaire POS or you'll be deeply disappointed. Save yourself the bother and buy a bunch of food and toss it in the garbage. I'm pissed off and disappointed beyond all comprehension. "Frigidaire Crap - The quality goes out before the name goes on." Frigidaire, the perfect product for #2020.

Horrible experience at this location in the appliance dept . After purchasing all the appliances and having them installed by Home Depot in a Brand new home .The dishwasher had a slow leak over the past year ruined the wood floor under the dishwasher . Upon inspection found that the dishwasher was leaking from a dent at the seam under the insulation that was installed by Home Depot . They clearly did not inspect the product before installing. After speaking with assistant manager john and associate rick and verifying that they installed it . They said there is nothing the can do . After refusing to leave (assistant manager)john said he would call their insurance company . Long story short . Don’t have them install your appliances cause they don’t guarantee the quality of appliance or installation. Save yourself the headaches and costs of damages . I will no longer shop at Home Depot till this is resolved

Nope. Never again. We are FUMING.I went in to purchase a door and was happy to work with Steve in that department. He was friendly, set up the measurement appointment, and then we put in the order. This is where everything went fantastically wrong. The door was supposed to be installed in June by Kevin, but the day that the installer came to put it in, he realized that the door was not only poorly measured, but also damaged. Frustrated, we called Rick in customer service to try to get a new date. He said we would be priority, however, the door would still take another month and a half. We reordered the (Jeldwin) door, and then there was a lag time to get it installed. Somehow our installer changed and it would take an additional 2 weeks. Today - (8/27-20) was supposed to be the next installation date. A new installer named Tony was supposed to be here at 8am and no one showed. I called Rick in customer service, and he said he was just about to call me to let me know that the same.thing.happened. The door that they had ordered made it into the store, and the dang thing "doesn't shut properly". Ummmmm...how do you even get a door all the way to the store before someone realizes that it doesn't even shut?Mind you - they NEVER called us - we always had to call them to figure out what was going on with this door. They've had our money since MAY. At this point, I think it is less about the door and more about the ineptitude of their whole operation. Now it is late August and we still don't have this door that we wanted when we began this process back in FEBRUARY. Terrible customer service with no regard for how this has set us back. My husband and I are both teachers who now have to try to get this done during a very hectic season with our 4 children, and it must be done because the door is old and no longer has much of a seal. I will never go back.

Other home improvement stores care enough about their customers and staff to have hand sanitizer for their customers to use, and/or they sanitize the keypads and scanners after each customer is done. I actually asked an associate because I thought I just missed it. I was surprised to learn your store doesn’t do this. It will be a l-o-n-g time before I return.

This is specifically for the Home Depot in Carpentersville, IL. This store is always more likely to have the products you need in stock, their plants are in great condition, and they have great customer service. We went to the Home Depot in Elgin, IL and we couldn't get anyone to help us, the employees were actually blocking entrance into the store to stand around an talk, and the item we needed was out of stock. In Carpentersville, they searched until they found what we were looking for on a pallet up above the shelves, and they found a forklift and got it down for us even though they were closing in less than 30 minutes. The cashier offered to print us an extra receipt without us having to ask. A third employee walked up to us in the parking lot and put the item in the cart for us, again without us having to ask. Amazing customer service, Carpentersville Home Depot!

The owner of this location seems to really care about customers and their shopping experience. My husband and I were looking to buy a leaf blower that was out of stock in store and online. We were able to find a replacement for the product and we were taken care of. We appreciated the good customer service here!

We just went today to buy a light fixture and ended up finding a new grill in the summer savings area outside. We measured and removed an arm however it wouldn’t fit in our car. Enter the Manager of the outdoor area named Coffe at the West Dundee, IL location who voluntarily drove the grill to our house since all the trucks were rented. What AMAZING customer service!
