I had the strangest issues going on with my phone, but Michael , the store manager not only helped me to resolve a very complicated issue but stuck through it to the resolution which came a few days later and was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. 2734 New, Sutton Rd, Hoffman Estates“I’ve written maybe 5 reviews in my life, but this is one I HAVE to write. The Verizon Hoffman Estates location is the very best of the best! The manager, Jesse, knows his stuff! He’s helped us; he’s helped my elderly parents. We’ve added lines, changed phones, ported over numbers, you name it. He explains everything clearly: options, the steps we need to follow, and what to expect. He’s patient, kind, and fun to work with! His crew is so helpful, too. (Shout-out to Jacky!) With as much as we rely on cell phones, it’s essential to have someone to trust. Jesse is that someone and his store is that place.”

“I came into the store sorely needing a new phone. I had some reservations about coming in store since every other phone store I’ve ever visited had crew members who didn’t really know what they were talking about and were obviously trying to up sell. This said, my experience tonight at this location was so good that I doubt I will ever try another location. Our representative, David, was very knowledgeable about every phone we looked at and his demeanor quickly eased my anxiety about this large purchase. David took my concerns seriously and gave me real answers that gave me tangible direction on what phone is best for me. I’m looking forward to using my new phone, thank you David!”

By far, this was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a Verizon store. He was able to resolve the issue with my SIM card promptly and also recommended adding on the 5G Home network to our plan due to our eligibility for a substantial discount, and I'm loving the performance of the service so far. Thanks, Matt!”

Lol I really should bc after going to the at and t store across the street it was a nightmare. Wish I still had T-Mobile. Always had such amazing service here. Thank you so much. “From the moment we walked in we already knew we were going to have a better time at this store after being lied to at Golf and Basswood - upon walking in Osvaldo and Ada came up to us with a smile! Driving 5 minutes from our home was extremely convenient versus going to see our connections at T-Mobile over an hour away. My fiancé and I were previous T-Mobile employees of 5 years so we are well aware of the sales tactics that are used but never at this location were we pressured into purchasing anything additional. After thoroughly explaining the promotions, we all agreed upon what we wanted to purchase. The entire time we spent there (1.5) hours was filled with laughter as we reminisced on the “old days” of T-Mobile with all of the employees in the store. To the manager Young, keep doing what you’re doing with your team - they’re great. Thanks again guys for the new phone and watches!P.S Golf and Basswood T-Mobile customer service is absolutely terrible spare yourself and take the drive to this location.”

Sometimes policies are frustrating and can impact how we see people’s customer service so maybe that impacted poor reviews. My experience both times I went there was extremely positive. “I recently visited the Algonquin IL to return some equipment, obtain a new DVR, and possibly consider adding internet service. I had so much frustration with AT&T DSL outages and I needed to make a change. I was nervous about having an aggravating experience, but the sales consultant, Steven Brill, was fantastic! He was helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and took care of my issues quickly. We discussed adding the internet service and he explained the plans available and I would be getting twice the internet speeds for about half of what AT&T was charging. I also know that AT&T is phasing out DSL so it was a matter of time before I needed to switch. Steven made the experience with Xfinity painless and easy. He is a stellar example of great customer care and what a thoughtful, professional employee can do for the larger company.”
