Terrible customer service. Very disorganized and dismissive. Went in to open a business account, waited 15 mins before seeing someone, and by then two more people were waiting. They said we needed an appointment, which we could set with the teller. No other signage stating this is the procedure. The two people jumped ahead of me were helped next. I walked out. I guess they don't want my business after all.

Staff today was very dismissive about my desire to close an account and collect funds. BOA needs to cross train their staff on procedures to make the customer experience much more pleasant. This employee has caused me more wasted time by not providing me with the proper letter of direction documentation to complete while I was at the bank. So frustrating to deal with this bank.

I have been banking with Bank of America at this Carpentersville location since 2006. That's almost 18 years! During this time, I have opened not just personal accounts, but also multiple business accounts.During this time and especially recently, I have received excellent service starting with the manager Jeff supported by the tellers and everyone else.If it wasn't for the team at this location, I think I would have moved my business to smaller, regional banks known for better customer service. I know now that I don't have to contemplate such action!

I took time off to go to this branch to correct changes that BOFA kept on messing up.After talking to two agents on the phone and getting assurance my issue would be escalated and taken care of, it never did.So i made an appt and spoke to Zehra in person about a month ago. Initially, the issue was corrected. However, before I left the branch, I inquired about possibly following up should the changes made to my account be somehow "reversed."I got the customer relations manager business card with email and phone.Guess what? The changes made on that day went back to being messed up. I emailed the manager and provided evidence of the account issues, but never got a response. I called many times the phone provided and no one ever picks up. There is no option to leave a voicemail either.So, no I'd not go back to this branch. Sadly, the Elgin location is equally as bad.No need to respond and tell me to contact BOFA via twitter or phone. The result is the same. Now, I will have to take time off again to go a different branch to resolve something that should have been handle since I spoke to BOFA agents on phone.

Those people who working here 10.20.2023 just wasting time walking aroundthey walk around with coffee and drink it and wait for it until the end of the Friday workday, complete unprofessionalism, waiting 20 minutes just for no reason, because I see how they do nothing and just talk on the phone and sit in their pants I can accurately and confidently say that half of the clerks do not deserve a place in this bank, I am very dissatisfied with their service

I haven't been a customer for 20 years as others who have posted but I have been for several years and I am definitely considering taking my business elsewhere. After covid is basically over despite what some people claim on social media they still have their drive-up completely shut down except for an ATM. Not to mention condescending behavior from someone I'm assuming is a manager who drives a white Acura. I hate that their lobby closing hours is at 4:00 instead of 5:00 as you would think of from a bank and as I walked up to the door they were leaving and with his hand waved me away from the door even though I was not standing in the way of the door, it's like he was afraid of something and claimed that I was in the way. I really don't care for his attitude and I'm pretty sure he has made my decision easier.

I'm bofa customer for years, but the experience I've had at this branch is worse than everything I've experienced before. Unprofessional clerks, unprofessional manager. Not customer oriented service. Spent 30 minutes to hear that they can't solve something, solved in 10 minutes at another branch. Leave here just ATMs, because those guys made more people to leave bofa than to open new accounts.
