I started working at Apet last year of December. I worked in the office as a Customer service rep for the corporate accounts team. From day 1 the entire office made me feel welcomed and a part of the team. As I continued to build my experience and skills within my position I was always given recognition for a job well done. Everyone including through our the ware house are very kind and get along extremely well. This is why they are able to thrive and succeed the way they have, they treat their employees with the utmost respect and make sure everyone’s needs are met inside / outside of work. I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to be here and will take that experience with me everywhere I go. I am saddened to say that I will be leaving this company so soon. All from personal life changes, moving out of state. Otherwise I would say this is definitely a place I saw myself building a long term career with. Anyone who gives this company a chance will not be disappointed by what they see and encounter. The company will in return do the same for you. I can also confidently say since getting to know many amazing people if different departments, everyone here does what they do with a passion for animals and do everything in their power to give the animals there the best care from the moment they arrive to the warehouse from when they are shipped out with orders. Everyone here takes their job seriously and understands the importance of their role within the company.

Apet Inc is one of my favorite places to get my fish from. It has a large selection of fish to choose from and their place is really clean. The staff is really friendly and is there to help if you have any questions. What I appreciated the most is that Dan the sales rep came in person with my shipment to the loading dock to drop off the fish. I highly recommend Apet Inc for everyone to supply their clients with their best quality fish.

They don't order everything we send in to have ordered(not out of stock, just not ordered). We order 250 Rosey reds and are shorted anywhere from 50-100 each time. Not enough water in the rosey red bags so hard dead before they get to us. Send freshwater fish(catfish) in a bag labeled for a saltwater fish(white ribbon eel).

Disease is rampant in this establishment. Do yourself a favor and skip the cycle of discounts and credit for dead and sick fish. I'll gladly pay more for the health and wellness of livestock. Apet has cost me so much money already with the results of their substandard fish keeping. Take my advice and save lots of time, money, and heartache - go with a better company.

If you have a small shop and only want the best do not buy from a pet. It's more like getting Petco fish with disease

This is who supplies sick fish to all of the big box pet stores in northeast Ohio. So many sick and dying fish. They don't quarantine anything before it ships out. Shame on you!

if you get an animal from here, it'll most likely end up dead within a couple of weeks or days.

Treat animals horribly and fired a family member for attending their best friends funeral. The managers are horrid people.

Some workers treat the animals pretty horrible. It’s disturbing and just because the manager thinks they have good employees or the employee has been there for a while to refuse to believe any harm is being done to the animals. A few ladies tried to get me fired for no reason, the gossip was so intense and they wouldnt care if you can hear them. They have an odd employee environment, very toxic workplace. Not all of course, a few employees really do care and you can tell. But a majority don’t care. They get aggressive with the animals. Boxes with the rats inside are slammed by the delivery man. Same with the rest when it takes not even a second to be gentle and think of the animals inside the boxes. Birds wings get cut and bleed out. Many Many birds die daily, many are ill, many are injured. Fed cheap fattening diets. They are cramped and stuffed/thrown in the cages. Knowing how birds should be handles and cares for it’s very depressing and disturbing. The workers do what’s fastest and easiest. But the workers that do care are amazing and deserve much better pay for the work and hours.

Honestly the work is really easyIts just unfair especially the power washing position they expect you to do everything by YOURSELF with no help at all and if you were to miss some days you would come back with so much stuff and on your hands cause you would be cleaning up 2nd shift stuff aswell

Guinea pigs with upper respiratory infections and wet tail . Hamsters with wet tail , they shipped out a bird with a broken foot and another with a serious head tilt . Nothing but sick animals and mangers with excuses. Maybe if you kept the animals till a appropriate age you wouldn’t have so many dead animals . Awful . Trash company! Stop overbreeding to make a couple bucks !
