When you are renting a trailer to travel cross country and the only representative on site from U-Haul is not able to help you with the trailer or know anything about it and tells you you have to do it yourself I don't feel is appropriate. It cost me three additional hours and I had to go to two other different U-Haul locations and finally rent a trailer from a different U-Haul dealer. This is not a U-Haul dealer.

Well lit corridors and bathroom was clean and well supplied.Sunday's are a busy day at this center.

Allowed me to reserve a dolley and moving blankets with my reservation for a truck but then when I got there they weren’t available… really messed up my move, on top of that I had some I could have borrowed from a family member but turned them down because my uhaul reservation had them.Guess I should be thankful I got the truck I reserved.

Thank you manager & staff of Carol Stream location and regional manager for helping out with my situation back on 12-10-2018 weekend you guys didn't had to help me but you showed real compassion and real live humanitarian skills it's took understanding thank you for that it's noted and I wanted to let you guys know that I'm greatful .

Recently rented a 20ft truck from them (Wednesday November 21st). We loaded it on Thanksgiving Day and planned to take it to our new place 66 miles north. It broke down due to poor maintenance, on the day I was to return it, Friday. My husband and I received a new truck from UHaul Roadside Assistance and reloaded the new truck ourselves. I didn't make to my destination and had to return back to my home without unloading the new truck. Since we both worked on Saturday, we unloaded the truck Sunday and returned the new truck to this location. They charged me for the 2 extra days and the added mileage. It was their fault I hadn't been able to unload the truck and return it on time in the first place, but still they charged me for the 2 extra days and the extra mileage. I even called them to give me the heads up on Friday when the truck broke down, no sympathy. Are you ok? Was anyone hurt? Nothing. Just we will have to charge you for the extra time. My husband and I left 3 messages for the property manager Gloria to call us back. haven't heard from her yet. I have left 2 messages for the district manager Gene to call me back. I haven't heard from him yet. Do yourself a favor, don't rent anything from this place; truck, storage unit, anything. They are useless and greedy and have no sympathy for what they put other people through. I want my money back.
