My father took my car there for an oil change, and they messed up the screw on the oil tank on my car and told me him he had to pay full price for it. They asked for $800 right there and then. It was their mistake and they expected me to pay, they wouldn't compromise or talk to him for a solution. Their management was very rude as well. I ended up getting it towed from there. This Merlin in Carol stream and the Merlin in Hanover Park have been slacking on their customer service lately and we have been going here for 10+ years.

TERRIBLE! I took my Jeep Wrangler there for the first time to get an oil change. I should've checked it when I left. A few weeks later I took my Jeep in to another mechanic to change out the front differential and they did their normal 30 point inspection and guess what??? NO OIL. Merlin mechanics forgot to put the oil back into my Jeep.
