Will never shop at Lowes again after being treated so poorly. Purchased a clothes dryer and spent $824.00 which included $35.00 for it to be installed. When it was delivered I was told it couldn't be installed because because it couldn't be hook-up to the existing shut-off and that I would need to contact a plumber to do the install. The delivery person said to call the store to receive a refund of the $35.00. I called the store and asked for the $35.00 refund and they refused to give a refund because they said the $35.00 was for parts to do the install and that the install was free. That was not what I was told. I was told the install was $35.00. I talked to 3 people to request the refund and all 3 refused. This all over $35.00. I will never shop at Lowe's again.

Our neverending nightmare with Lowes Installation Services or how we went from the very loyal customers to "never again". We already stopped counting how much money and time we spent while waiting for Lowes to do their job that we paid over $10.5k!!! We are waiting for our windows to be installed for over 6 months and it still ongoing!!!!! Thanks Lowe's for ruining our first winter in our new house! Here is a timeframe of our roller coaster: 8.31.2023 - our first meeting with Mike Cable (corporate salesperson). We were planning to order five new Pella windows with Lowe's 9.13.2023 - got the email with the signed contract. 9.27.2023 - got the receipt by email. 10.31.2023 - windows arrived at the warehouse 11.10.2023 - window installation appointment scheduled on 11.29.2023 (email) 11.14.2023 - got install permit and instructions email 11.28.2023 - a call from the installer to reschedule installation from 11.29 to 11.30 due to personal reasons. 11.29.2023 - phone call from Install Partners LLC. He said that one of our windows came wrong and we have to call and re-order the new one. Called the same day, and asked to re-ordered the window. After a few calls we found out that Lowe's 'ordering department' made a mistake and ordered obscured glass for the master bedroom window instead of the clear one. ~12.28.23 received a call from Lowes saying that order has been placed (4 weeks later!!!) and we have to wait another 2 month for the manufacturer to make the new window. (why it took 4 weeks to reorder the window?????) 1.2.2024 - got emain with congratulations that my project is complete. (?????) 1.17.2024 - email with estimate delivery date on 2/27/2024 2.7.2024 - a call from Lowes installation about EDD 2.14.2024 - a call from Lowes that window has arrived 2.14.2024 - we called to installer to let him know that window has arrived. No response 2.15.2024 - we called to Lowes install and asked to contact installer to schedule installation (we were told that installer will contact us in the next 24 hours) 2.16.2024 - we called to Lowes install at the end of the day to let them know that installer didn't call us (we were told that installer will contact in the next 24 hours) 2.20.2024 - a call from Installer saying that our windows at the warehouse but he needs extra hardware (trim coil) for installation. Told us that it should not take long 3.7.2024 - Lowes received extra hardware 3.7.2024 - called to Lowes schedule installation and to let the installer know that products are ready. We were told that installer will contact in the next 24 hours 3.9.2024 - call to Lowes to let them know - no response from the installer 3.12.2024 - call to Lowes to let them know - no response from the installer 3.12.2024 - came to Lowes store at Carol Ctream. Bob Miller promised to solve the problem. He gave us the phone number and asked to call there next day at 9 am. 3.13.2024 - we called by that phone number but no one respond. Then we went to the store again. Amy and Mitch were super friendly but couldn't help us. We were asked to call next day unless someone from Lowe's Installation or Installer call. 3.15.2024 - called to Lowes to tell them that no response from installer. Barbara said she will solve this problem. 3.15.2024 installer called and scheduled the installation on 3.22.24 3.15.2024 - got an email with installation info (set up on 22nd of March) 3.20.2024 - to be on the safe side, we called to our village to check if window inspection appointment was scheduled for our address on March 22nd. And it wasn't!!!!!!! We tried to do Lowe's job and schedule it by ourselves, because we had a permit from original installation date, dated November 24th, 2023 (effective for one year). But this permit was already canceled by someone from Lowes on Jan, 9th! Then we called to installer, and he told us that we need to call to Lowes Instalaltion Services, because its their responsibility to order permits and schedule inspections. Needed to return some faucets that were bought a while back but never installed. Since we didn't need them anymore, my wife decided to return them. She had the receipts, and there was a dedicated customer service/return line. Chris was the associate that helped her, and he did a good job. He made sure each box was legit and then easily put the charge back in the original form of payment. Lowes competes with Menards and Home Depot in this area, and it always seems to be the least busy. It is fully staffed, so easy to find help...but I always wonder how well they are doing.

Went for paint and looking at price I picked middle quality. After mixing I point to the price and he said ..oh no that price of flat since u picked satin it 10 dollars more . Very misleading on that and when he took sample of paint after he got shaking it he opened can 1/2 way and bent the hell out of the lid. I asked if he had a new lid because it will be hard to get it back on now that it's bent in 3 places . His answer was no .. it already has paint on inside of lid. I have painted for years and had teenagers open it properly this guy was 50+ years old and gave a crap about the service he gave . Never will go back for paint there again. Paint was around 50 dollars and service was 2 cents .

I went to 3 stores looking for laminate flooring and paint and my last stop was Lowes in Carol Steam,By far my best decision of the day.Encounted Jacqueline in flooring she was amazing,She was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable while I was trying to make decisions picking out the right flooring.I changed my mind several times.Jaqueline also helped me pick out paint.Her boss Andy was also very helpful and friendly.

i have NEVER received such amazing customer support and service than i received at this store. as i'm limited to characters on here i will not go into too much detail. but if you mention trouble with a couple Ariens snowblowers ... a couple of amazing guys and a very nice lady at customer service will know what you are talking about. These 3 people went WAY WAY beyond what i ever expected. To say i received "help" is a drastic understatement. THIS is why i have bought my major appliances here. THIS is why i come back for things like snowblowers and power tools, etc. HIGHLY satisfied with this lowes.

I had my entire kitchen remodeled. I went with Lowe's for my kitchen cabinets and installation. The installation process was a nightmare. The installer was awful to work with. They would show up for 2 days and not come back for another week. He lied and tried to get more cash from us after we payed Lowe's in full for cabinets and installation. The worst part is that my cabinets are not installed correctly on one side. They made a huge mistake by not measuring while installing and crown molding and cabinets do not look correct. I have called Lowe's many times and I have sent pictures and no one has responded. We went with Lowe's installation because they guaranteed we would be taken care of and there is a warranty on the installation. Very disappointed and I will never recommend the Lowe's team.

Sheila in Home Decor was very helpful!! Will go back to this location before the St. Charles location even though it is closer, had a bad experience at St. Charles.

Makes no sense how a company can allow someone to place an order for 20 mini toolboxes have them still listed on the app and the site but can’t get one in the store. Oh and it’s the day before Christmas Eve. Thanks Lowe’s for ruining my niece’s Christmas

Keep at least one person at a register. I'm not a Lowe's employee. I shouldn't have to scan and bag my items. Also, I have experienced a mixed bag of customer service from this location. Some times it's been good, sometimes not so much.

I was really impressed with their service first but looking at the current situation they put me in I would never shop at any Lowe's stores ever again. I am their pro customer they took 2 days to verify if they can get the material for me after the verification they took my order then after I ordered all the other materials from other vendors as per customer's needs we installed everything at the sites and were just waiting for delivery from Lowe's and today these people after over 10 days called me and are apologizing to me and are planning to cancel my order and expecting me to apologize with my customer after investigating $20k already in the project. Worst customer service ever seen. Specifically for this order I was working with Chris and Peter in the pro desk at this location. I am never going back to Lowe's. Also would never recommend Lowe's to anyone.
