We were looking for a vehicle large enough for our family of five, which ranges in height from 5'9 "to 6'2", with two still growing to go on family trips. We visited Vic Koenig Chevrolet, and Alex Daly showed us a few Tahoes. After discussing it over the weekend, we decided to get a Suburban for a little more space. We let Alex know what we wanted and gave him a few color options, and he found exactly what we wanted.
That was on a Friday late afternoon, and we had our new vehicle by Wednesday morning. Alex's made the car purchase process smooth and enjoyable. We are thrilled with our new Suburban.
Thank you again, Alex Daly and Vic Koenig Chevrolet!

Over the past two years, I have spent thousands of dollars at the service center only for multiple repaired or replaced components to fail again. This might have been fine if I did not have to replace the affected components at my expense the second or in one case, the third time. None of these repairs lasted longer than 6,000 miles and one and a half years.

Horrible customer service. Emailed to come look at a vehicle, no response. Called to try to go look at it, got the run around. Followed up on it after no return call or text to look at it today. Someone else is working on a deal on this vehicle. What it boils down to, is that I told the salesman that I had my own financing and they didn’t like that. No worries, I will take my money else where.

Went to Vic to see about my options and Alex was great! Got me into something in my price range with no extra gimmicks. This is my second time buying from them and I don’t regret it at all. Go in and ask for Alex Daly , he will get you into something you will love!

I had a wonderful experience purchasing a truck. I highly recommend taking a visit if you’re looking for your next vehicle. Be sure to ask for Alex Dely, as he was a tremendous help and a great addition to the team here.

We were thrilled to find a local dealer with an older model truck on the lot! Alex Daly was the salesman and he did a great job. He was very attentive and helpful even though it was not a new vehicle. We hope to purchase our next vehicle through Alex again!

My buddy was wanting to trade in his car he just paid off for another used vehicle. When we arrived at Vic Koenig we were greeted by Alex Daly who proceeded to talk in circles, degrade us for browsing their inventory, and speak to us in a manner I believe Mr. Vic Koenig himself would be disgusted with. Abhorrent unprofessionalism and disdain for their customers. If you wanna sell cars then sell them. If you wanna go home, then just do it dude! Maybe time to retire Alex. Yikes. 0/10, just go to Vogler across the road where they won’t talk down to you just because you want to buy a car.

Went there to see the stock they had on hand and talk about a car with Alex Daly. Was thankful he was working today and helped us to find exactly what we were looking for. We looked a t a few different cars and got some very honest and real input from him. Happy to say that thanks to Alex sales, Scott finance, at James the sales manager (who did the final paperwork with me) that we were able to close the deal and leave with the vehicle we wanted. We will be coming back in the future.

We had the absolute pleasure of purchasing a 2021 Chevy Equinox from Alex. He was an amazing salesman and helped us find exactly what we wanted and in our budget. Highly recommend you go see Alex for your new/used car needs!

I'm not local to Carbondale, but was passing through the area to see the solar eclipse. I have a Chevrolet Bolt EUV and have almost always been able to charge my car at GM dealerships that are EV certified. However, this was the first time I've had real trouble.
Vic Koenig put their DC Fast Charger behind a fence, so I went into the service department to ask them how much it costs to use it. They told me "we're not set up for public charging, go to Auffenberg GMC". I really don't understand why a dealer would tell a potential customer to go across the street, but that's basically what was said. Unfortunately, the GMC dealer's charger was in use.
After talking more with management, they agreed to charge the car but insisted that they be the ones to drive it back and plug it in. Super weird, but OK. But the real kicker was they weren't able to get it to work. They said I was not allowed to go back into that area because of whatever reason, so I couldn't try and assist them. I've been in the service area of other dealerships before, so it seemed like they just didn't want to help.
All in all, this was a mediocre experience. Nobody won here - I didn't get a charge, the dealership lost out on revenue, and everyone's time was wasted.
Edit: I did talk to the dealership again and really emphasized the importance of having public charging. The dealership made a choice to sell and service EVs, GM does not require Chevrolet dealers to do so. But if you're going to sign up for the program and pay money to install a charger, it was a mistake to put it behind the fence. Hope to see it changed here in the future.
